Philipo (the day manager) was very helpful. He suggested sites for us to see and helped us with which buses to take and where to catch them. All of his suggestions were awesome! He was also a tremendous help in getting us tickets for the Vatican. There was a reasonable restaurant at the entrance to the hotel which was nice when we wanted a quick snack during the day. Very convienent.

The location of the hotel near Via Veneto, Spain Square, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Colloseum among other Rome attractions. Morning coffee is very good. The room is tiny. For one person, it does not exceed 10 sq meters. The bed is a back breaker with a materass sitting on a hard board. Although, the booking said that the reservation can be cancelled without penalty; the reception officer at the hotel contested that. Internet is Euro 5 per hour and not 3 as advertised with the booking. The hotel is located in the fourth floor of a building and is hard to locate from outside.

We found the location of the hotel very convenient for the local Metro station and is only a 5 min walk to the Spanish Steps. The breakfast was good but could do with a bigger breakfast room and a greater variety of cereals and fruit. The temp of the shower had a mind of its own and it went from hot to cold a lot. Also there is a good choice of channels but they are all in Italian which is no good if you don't speak the language.

Hotel felt safe and staff was very helpful. It was very close to places I needed to be, as well as between metro stops. Wireless Internet seemed costly (5 £per hour), but very slow connection that dropped often. It may have been better in the lobby. No CNN or BBC on television. Breakfast better if had eithher more cereals (only cornflakes) or yogurt or meats or cheeses. Very basic, but great service.

I liked the fresh espresso, cappuccino in the breakfast, the room and the 32" lcd tv. The hotel arranged a transfer from the airport to the hotel but the driver never showed up in the airport. After waiting 40 minutes in the aiport and giving many calls to the hotel, because nobody informed us that the taxi would not come, they told us that the car would not come because the roads were closed. When we called them to ask where our taxi is, they didn't have any idea and after many calls and much time they told that it would be better for us to find a taxi in the airport.

Friendly staff, very clean rooms, nice breakfast buffet, great location. Does not have good sound isolation, you can hear the noice from the other room, but i think that all the old buildings have this problem in Italy.

“Excellent location, safe and quiet but within easy walking distance to all the sights (Pantheon only 5 minutes walk away at the most). Exceptionally clean establishment. Bathroom small but perfectly adequate and again very clean. Air conditioning worked well and very useful in August! Rooms looked recently decorated, bed comfortable. Mini bar/fridge very useful and reasonable charged. Would recommend.” Elizabeth, Sheffield |
