Location was very convenient since it was just opposite the main station on the far side of Piazza Garibaldi. Staff were friendly. Room simple but clean. I would stay here again. Room facing the street was rather noisy in the morning as the markets were being set up. |

This hotel is great for train travellers. Because it is on the square across from the main train station, it was easy to make connections to Rome, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento. The room was clean and had effective air conditioning. We stayed on the third floor, so there was no noise. The street market each morning on the street in front of the hotel was crowded but interesting and had some great deals. The staff at this hotel was very friendly and helpful. |

The staff are kindly and professional. We had some problems with the first room we stayed, they change another room for us the next day. The breakfast is not enough for an adult. |

The reception staff are invariably friendly and helpful. We stayed at a few other, 4-star hotels in Italy, but none of them was as friendly as the staff at Hotel Gabribaldi. It made all the difference to our holiday experience. The hotel is also very conveniently located, just a 5-minute walk from the central train station. Some say the area is rough, but we did not encounter any problem. The facities in the room may not be brand new but kept always clean and fresh. Overall, we found this hotel the greatest value for money out of all the places we stayed at in Italy. Rooms on the first floor may not be as quiet as those on the second in the morning, as the breakfast room is located there. |

the room and bed were clean and comfortable. on the morning of our departure, breakfast was not ready at the scheduled time and even though it was included in our rate, we ended up having to buy breakfast at the train station. the staff, though apologetic, did not offer us a refund. also, it should be noted that this hotel is located on the main square of Naples, which is completely filled with market stalls on the weekend and is therefore a prime place to be pickpocketed, as a number of locals warned us. It was impossible to get in and out of the hotel without moving through this large crowd, which was slightly unpleasant. |

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a balcony room at front of hotel which was great, especially with the vibrant atmosphere of the morning markets in the square where vendors were all polite to deal with. We had an excellent stay especially our car trip to Positano & Pompeii provided by one of the hotels younger owners.Very close to main railway station and safe to walk about. We walked to various places to eat at night and had no problems. The original place that created the Pizza is very close as is its main competitor; perfect Pizzas in a great Neapolitan atmosphere. We arrived by Eurostar and just walked across the large Square in front of the Station to reach hotel. This is a family run hotel with a small number of rooms where we felt safe and secure during our stay. Thankyou for making our stay so enjoyable ! We will stay here again when we return. No |

Our stay at Garibaldi was lovely! Matteo and the other extremely nice and helpful staff made our stay a perfect one. The location is great- directly in front of the train station- and there is a fantastically authentic, bustling market in the square below. I'll definitely be returning to this hotel the next time I'm in Naples! Thanks to everyone at Garibaldi who helped make our stay a great one! |

the hotel and my room were very clean and tidy. the staff - a family operation - was helpful, and with some capability in English. location in relation to rail station excellent breakfast (included) was the poorest of the five hotels I stayed in in Italy. Maintenance of the room could be improved - basin drain nearly plugged, shower door off its track |

The hotel is situated very close to the main train station but it is in a somewhat rundown area. However we did not encounter any problems at all in the streets sorrounding it. Attention from the staff was very warm and they tried their best to be helpful. Breakfast is simple but abundant. The room was reasonably clean. Lack of lift! |

The Hotel is close to Piazza Garibaldi the train station and so is a convenient base for exploring both the surrounding area and the city itself by public transport and on foot. The staff at reception were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean, tidy, spacious and pleasantly furnished. It was also good value for money. The state of the area in which the Hotel is located might be of concern to some, but did not worry me. |

The staff is really friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy to get to and the rooms are comfortable. The surrounding area is dirty and noisy, better ask for a backyard room. The hotel is noisy in the morning during beakfast - earplugs are useful. |

The location to the train station. We arrived early (7am), the staff were more than happy to hold our bags for us and also gave us some helpful information about Naples. Although as previous people have mentioned, the street is really dirty because of the market, but the location for the station is great and inside the hotel, it is beautiful. |

I really liked the friendly staff, the quiet atmosphere and the central location, very close to the station. The staff is always careful and open to give suggestions and hints concerning Naples and their main traditions. I didn't find the area dangerous and bad as red in some comments. |
