Hotel Genio    

The best thing was the location. Within walking distance of most of the sites and set amongst pretty streets for strolling and eating in the evenings

Although clean it is worn and the plumbing was not great, the shower head did not belong to the seating provided and so didn't fit so you had to hold it all the time. But the location made up for the plumbing

the rooms were clean and the views from the top floor were excellent. the breakfasts were very good and all the staff were attentive and helpful.

there seemed to be no bar in the hotel

Room 409 carpet filthy. Some holes in walls. Shower very small with high step in/out (about1 foot). Internet very spotty even inside the room.

The roof top patio for breakfast over looking Rome was spectacular !!!

Excellent location, near the main tourist attractions. Good accommodation. Restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

Breakfast with few options. Rare fruit. Juice industrialized.

It was close to everything that we wanted to do.And the room was clean.

Tight sleeping quarters

The hotel personnel were friendly, attentive and professional. The hotel location is perfect. The rooftop terrace and buffet breakfast a dream. The room itself was clean and functional. The traffic from the road was a little noisy but we still slept very well. We hope to go back to this hotel again.

Very small single room. Very unreliable plumbimg (very Roman !). Somewhat erratic lift.

Great breakfast spread in the morning. Single room good size, a little dark but for the price and location really good deal.

If you bring your own car, there is no parking place. Although it mention they will arrange a nearby private parking space at a cost. Only nearby parking garage which cost €32,- each 24hr. There are cheaper alternatives far away from the hotel. Hotel offered me a free parking space at a sister hotel near the colosseum which was very kind.

the location is fantastic! Walking distance to vatican city. Good restaurants around the area. After a long day, the room is so homey. i will come back again to Rome, it is magical!

Internet is fast and good signal. Location is very good. Staff are very kind and frendly.

Breakfast is very poor In night when the weather cold , warm water disapper. Only coooold water. Some time befor sunrise the roomsirvies or minibar try to open the door without ask you . Towalit is not good more thing need maintenance .

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and always helpful. Everything we needed really for our stay. The terrace is amazing for views across Rome especially for the new year fireworks

Nothink!!! in the bathroom worked as it should have: the sink and the shower cabin were plugged, the water in the toilete did run without presure and slowly

Hotel is situated in the center of the town ,nice room ,good breakfast

Central heating was only on the evening ,during the day was cold.

I liked the location of the hotel. It is located right in the historic center. Five minutes from the Vatican. ONE minute from Piazza Navona. Enough food, and most importantly, that it can be happy to have. It is fresh and tasty. The rooms are small, but this is the historical center of Rome. Furniture does not look old. Decent bathroom. Everything works. Staff working in good. Would come again.

Location is excellent. Walked everywhere. Local cafe (I.e next door) was great, as were the restaurants right outside. Quite big rooms. Nice balcony and the hotel diner on the top floor has great light and views. All in all, really very good.

The shower was a bit of a dribble, but did enough, to refresh so hardly a major.

It' location perfect. We will definetely stay there again.

A little bit the noise of the main road.

Hotel is well maintained, has an excellent breakfast, very close location to Piazza Navona and lots of great restaurants in area. Patio deck on top floor great for full 360 city vistas. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

Beds were firm by american standards. Hot water slow to come up to fifth floor early in the morning and limited if heavy use mid-morning.

fantastic location. staff were excellent. they even let the 8 people in our group leave their luggage in A secure room very early in the day. close to everything. very neat and clean.

A couple of the rooms have A small double bed which is A bit small for rwo people.

Location was perfect for sights of Rome. Great roof terrace.

Shower head was broken. Shower cubicle was dirty. Shower drains were blocked and shower overflowed if stayed in for more than 5 mins. Smell of drains in the bathroom.
