Hotel Giubileo

Nothing. Piece of junk. Total waste of my honeymoon time! I cannot imagine how people can recommend the hotel. If you stayed in hostels, then this hotel maybe decent. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone with a sense of taste or personal self-respect.

Well, where do I start? There is a construction on the front side of the hotel (no one told us about this when we booked it)... Then, how about a furniture with torn fabric? Add the absense of the internet or coffee machine, a noisy air conditioner and dirty walls and you have the Giubileo! Viola. No, really, the worst hotel I've been to. Oh, yes... I forgot to say something... The room was in another building with no elevator to the fourth floor (good luck with your luggage).

It is centrally located near the train station in Rome and it was an easy walk to all of the main attractions.

The room was up 4 flights of stairs and enclosed behind 3 sets of locked doors. The abundance of locked doors and surveillance cameras made us feel as if we were prisoners in Guantanamo Bay and we also were under the impression that the place may have had safety issues.

The location was brilliant, very close to termini station, the tube line and a short walk to the coliseum and other places to see. The staff were very friendly and gave us good information on how to get around easily.

The 5 flights of stairs up to our room with no lift... though we paid less for this (staying in the annexe) so can't really complain! The breakfast too wasn't brilliant but still nothing really to complain about.

Location location location! Only a 5 minute walk to Termini, 10 mins to Colossium, and tour buses right out the door. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel could stand to be updated with newer lighting and fixtures. Just an FYI there is no elevator (lift) so pack light or you could lugging heavy bags up stairs.

no wireless lan and internet not working which was one of the main reasons for selecting. Also no elevator which if you are on the top floor is very difficult for older or people with a lot of luggage.

The staff was courteous and multilingual. There was free breakfast every morning. Our room had its own AC unit with remote, mini fridge, and small TV. The private bathroom was recently remodelled and clean. The location was fairly quiet and within 5 minutes walking distance to Termini. We were able to schedule a wake up call for our flight home. Street noise was not bad.

This is "European style" room; it is very basic and small and not very modern. The TV was small and old. One morning we ran out of hot water, it was only luke-warm. There was no alarm clock.

Staying at Hotel Giubileo was nice, although nothing special. The staff was OK and the breakfast was rather poor but within expectations for this kind of hotel and the price of the room. The room and the bathroom were clean and spacious enough.

The rooms were lovely and seemed looked after. I loved the italian funiture/ wardrobes. and breakfast was lovely and the coissants were delicious. The location was good and price was very reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful and I was greatful for the map on arrival. A good 3 star hotel, I would go back.

I think it would be a good idea to show a proof of identity before giving the key when you return to the room. we were just asked the room number and given the key, it did cross my mind that anyone could go in and ask for the key. This was just a thought and maybe i am just very into security.

We had a lovely room with a balcony and a view, central location,very clean and comfortable.

Very comfortable and big room, friendly staff, excellent position in the center of Rome.

A little bit noisy in the mornings and in the evenings when other guests are coming and going.

accesible to everything, the staff very friendly, and hard workers, always doing their best to make sure people are comfortable, very helpful, super clean, what you need is always in the room ( towels, shampoo..etc..) never have to ask for nothing, my daughter and I felt save and happy, for sure we will be back.
