Hotel Goldoni  

The room was totally cool, there was no heating on 15th November. There were no bulbs in some of lamps. Painting the walls in the bathroom and under the window is peeling. The water does not flow well in the sink. The carpet in the hallway was very dirty. Breakfast very poor. The owner is not following modes of payment as he is presented on Booking.com, but he has its own way of doing. When I have asked for explanations, he became very grumpy with me, and I had to call Booking.com customer service for help.

About two blocks from Ponte Vecchio and about a 8 minute walk to the center of Florence.

Hotel room was fine until we noticed there were no blankets nor sheets on the inside of the cover. It was then too late to tell the staff to place some sheets.

Hotel is in a good location, near shopping, train station, and restaurants.

We looked up directions to this hotel online and had no problems walking from the train station to the hotel. It was centrally located and we were able to walk to all major attractions. The staff is wonderful. They kept apologizing to us for their terrible English, but their English was actually very good. They were welcoming, wonderful hosts who made us excited to visit. Breakfast in the morning was nice.

The room and decor is a bit dated... However, the room is clean and comfortable.

The hotel staff is nice. The hotel is not far away from the river and railway station. There is a supermarket around the hotel.

The breakfast is quite simple and the furniture is little old.

Location is really excellent - walking distance from train station and from all the city centre attractions. People working in the hotel - extremely nice and helpful.

Excelente ubicación y muy buen trato del personal.

El hotel propiamente dicho está en un segundo piso. En la puerta que da a la calle, hay una chapa que lo identifica, a continuación de la puerta hay un enorme hall vacío y un ascensor de principios de siglo .......... pasado, donde en la botonera se indica que en el segundo piso funciona el hotel. No resulta grado llegar de noche y llamar por el portero eléctrico para que habiliten la entrada. El reciclado de las habitaciones satisface en cuanto a confort pero la heterogeneidad de estilos no resulta agradable.

Solo me ha gustado la ubicación.

Hay muchas cosas que no me gustaron del hotel Goldoni. Fuimos dos parejas. - estuvimos 3 días y 2 no tuvimos agua caliente hasta las 7 de la tarde. - no nos reponían papel higiénico ni jabones. - los secadores de pelo de las dos habitaciones NO funcionaban. Ninguno de los dos. - en la nevera de una de las habitaciones había resto de comida de anteriores visitantes, pero no restos de un día, sino de mas de 3 días. - la caja fuerte no funcionaba - el desayuno muy escaso y básico. Muy malo el desayuno.

Отличный отель! Историческое здание, чистые и уютные номера, неплохой завтрак. Отель очень удобно расположен: менее 10 минут пешком от вокзала, до исторических мест и достопримечательностей рукой подать. Есть лифт (очень удобно, если путешествуете с маленьким ребенком). Быстрое размещение и выезд. И конечно же великолепный персонал- очень отзывчивый.

В январе номер был не сильно теплый, но во второй половине дня включали обогрев.

Purtroppo niente, e' peggio di come me lo aspettavo.

Carente per quanto riguarda il riscaldamento della camera. E' vero che era particolarmente freddo fuori ma e' anche vero che non c'era assolutamente riscaldamento nella camera. Ho dovuto dormire con quattro coperte. L'ultimo giorno non c'era neanche acqua calda.

L'hotel è a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di S. Maria Novella, camera pulita e staff molto disponibile.
