The room was totally cool, there was no heating on 15th November. There were no bulbs in some of lamps. Painting the walls in the bathroom and under the window is peeling. The water does not flow well in the sink. The carpet in the hallway was very dirty. Breakfast very poor. The owner is not following modes of payment as he is presented on Booking.com, but he has its own way of doing. When I have asked for explanations, he became very grumpy with me, and I had to call Booking.com customer service for help.

1. Nice Staff, really tried their best to help 2. the location is wonderful 1. Old design but not a big problem 2. breakfast selection quite basic 3. they put fruity fragrance (mango+ Citron) in the room, maybe just not my taste, I did not find the smell great, had to put the fragrance sticks out of the window 4. The photos of the room on booking.com does not represent well the real rooms..in reality rooms are much older

We went there because it seemed suitable for a disabled uncle. We were taking an elderly uncle in a wheelchair to see Florence and wanted easy access to the hotel and room as well. It was well situated and near to restaurants and the staff were helpful.There was a lift and we were able to use the wheelchair along the corridor and leave it in the hotel room at night. Also we wanted a walk in shower because he is unable to use a bath. Our only problems were that he didn't feel safe on the tiled floors and so could have done with a slip mat and also the weather turned colder and there was no heating on in the hotel.

The hotel staff is nice. The hotel is not far away from the river and railway station. There is a supermarket around the hotel. The breakfast is quite simple and the furniture is little old.

It was such a pleasant surprise to arrive at this quaint little hotel, especially the very friendly welcome from Simone. We would definitely stay there again and only wish we had more time there. Everything and everyone was fabulous. Nice and quiet but within easy walking distance to most major attractions, many restaurants, bars etc. Sightseeing bus stop nearby. Hotel is on 2nd floor of building with lift.

My wife and I found the hotel well placed (almost on the Arno and about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Florence); very convenient to the station (15 minutes walk with luggage) for the Pisa airport connection; and of an overall intrigueing ambiance The Hotel staff were most welcoming and helpfull Excellent breakfast! Some fruit perhaps?

We enjoyed the personal attention during breakfast. Simone, an employee at the hotel always went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. He was very friendly. The last 3 days we stayed in a much larger room and enjoyed the spacious surroundings. The first 3 nights we were there was extremely loud until 2:30-3:00 in the morning. We did not complain since we felt it was not a polite thing to do while visiting another country. Needless to say we didn't get any sleep. The hotel staff did move our room to the other hallway where it was much quieter. Not sure how they knew we were not to happy about the noise but needless to say it solved the problem and we were fine the last few days of our stay. I'm glad we didn't say anything, the hotel solved the issue for us and for that we are grateful!!!

Отличный отель! Историческое здание, чистые и уютные номера, неплохой завтрак. Отель очень удобно расположен: менее 10 минут пешком от вокзала, до исторических мест и достопримечательностей рукой подать. Есть лифт (очень удобно, если путешествуете с маленьким ребенком). Быстрое размещение и выезд. И конечно же великолепный персонал- очень отзывчивый. В январе номер был не сильно теплый, но во второй половине дня включали обогрев.

Ho sfruttato un'offerta last minute, 30 euro per una camera matrimoniale in un'ottima posizione valgono da soli la recensione positiva. Il personale è gentile e disponibile e la camera pulita. La camera era un po' piccola e la colazione non molto abbondante ma per un soggiorno di una notte e per 3 euro va più che bene!
