Hotel Gorizia a La Valigia  

Nice location, very close to St Marc Plaza.

1. Internet is very expensive, 8 euro per hour. 2. Don't have nice map to show the location and it's not easy to get there from Train Station for the first timer. 3. Steet is so narrow in Venice and it's very hard to locate the street name.

Hotel is placed in the very heart of the Venice City and just takes 5 minutes to reach the Piazza di San Marco. It is very old hotel but that absolutely reflects the Classic Venician Style.

The breakfast is very poor and needs to be improved. And the bathrooms....Since there is no glass around the bath tube, you are just getting so confused in which position you need to get your shower in order not to turn the bathroom floor into a small lake. It is written over the shower "Call for help"... When you experience your first shower, you understand why they put that plate over there....cos you really need a help of someone else to hold your showerhead while you are showering......

The hotel is best located between Piaza San Marco and Rialto Bridge in a very strategic location, rooms are good and clean. I would definitely recommend the hotel if the price is good as I went during ny eve and the price was exaggerated. Wireless internet was working and hotel staff is extremely helpful and friendly.. They will tell you where to eat and where to go.

I checked into the room and the safe was not working, and they wanted me to use the safe in the reception, and when I refused; I went to two rooms until I found a safe that was working!!! Although I booked the hotel in high season (New Year), I still believe that the price is too much for what I got.

Perfect location, great breakfast (get there early, it's super quiet!), spacious room, nice bathroom.

Lack of free WiFi and even the WiFi I did end up paying for was barely detectable by iPhone, iPad or laptop. A minor annoyance.

Good hotel will go there again ,central position,clean,comfortable,friendly & polite staff,good breakfast,i recommend it . grazie patrizia .

Location is superb. Bit Quaint but hospitable.

Lift doesn't go to top floor.

We already recommended the hotel to our friends that are thinking of visiting Venice. It's a perfect location.

location was excellent.only 2 mins walk to piazza san marco.When we had a small problem with the shower a man had called at the room to sort it out before my husband had got back from reporting the problem at the reception desk.Room was very clean.Breakfast was great.Would definitely return to this hotel if lucky enough to visit Venice again.

The location.

It was a non-smoking hotel, but it was filled with smoke the whole time we were there. I would go into the hall whenever the smoke was the worst and find employees standing in the stairwell (always with doors open). Either that's where they smoke, or at the very least, they don't stop guests from smoking (they had to have smelled it). It was 70-80 degrees and too early for the a/c to be turned on for the summer, and one couldn't open the window because the mosquitoes were voracious. So with a hot, closed-up room, the tons of smoke made it unbearable. When I told the mgr, he shrugged and said, "What can I do about it?"

A localização e o conforto dos quartos são os destaques. Da estação do vaporeto (Rialto) até ele a pé deram 10 minutos. O chuveiro do banheiro era meio apertado, mas plenamente contornável. Há elevador para os quartos e o café é bom.

A internet é meio instável.

Stosunek jakość/cena bardzo dobry. Lokalizacja super, śniadania całkiem przyzwoite, pokoje nieduże, ale wygodne I klimatyczne. Check in sprawnie I bez problemów. Możliwość pozostawienia bagaży w przechowalni, już po wymeldowaniu. Nie było problemu z zamianą pokoju na inny, z dwoma łóżkami. Polecamy ten hotel.

Отель имеет хорошее расположение,как к водному транспорта,так и к площади Сан Марко.(около 150 с в одну и в другую сторону) Сам отель не большой, с маленьким номером и маленким ресторанчиком для завтрака ( на завтрак лучше приходить пораньше, а то можно простоять в очереди(((
