Bring staff was excellent behavior
The location is very good for access, the room was clean and staff friendly. It has fair value for money in Venetian terms.
No spectacular views or spacios rooms, but you can't have all good things at the same time. No free wi-fi :(
The location is brilliant - in the center of San Marco area, 5 minutes away from San Marco square and Rialto bridge The wifi was working well
Very poor breakfast, no cooked food, pastry and cakes were not so fresh Room is very basic and cramped, not enough functional plugs, having to hang our chargers in various weird position No place to put the shower gel in the shower
The location is incredible, and generally the staff were very friendly. Given the price of some other hotels within a two minute walk vicinity, it is incredible value. You don't spend much time in the room anyway in an incredible city like Venice! Breakfast was included which is great but the spread was very basic (no hot food). Would probably stay again.
The room was quite small. Even with just the two of us we found it quite difficult to get around. We weren't really given much information on arrival - no map, no time or indication of when/where breakfast was. We also weren't told that we had to hand our key in every time we left the hotel - which we then got 'told off' for the following day.
Location staff(Veronica) Great Balcony Breakfasts Staff went out of their way to provide us some breakfast on our early departure.
Price was a little high
No facility for making tea / coffee in the room. 2 single beds were placed instead of a single double bed. Noisy air conditioner.
Only stayed in Venice one night. It was a good location though. Short walk from Rialto.
The bed wasn't the greatest, but good enough for a night or two.
Staff enabling us to have breakfast after breakfast hours, lugguage hold.
Size of rooms, state of bathroom.
Check in staff was friendly and very accomadating. Good location but you will drag bags from San Marcos or Realto to get there.
Shower didn't drain. Overflowed. Carpets worn and dirty. Breakfast coffee is from a dispensing machine. Paid over $300 for one night for the above!
You will not find a better location in Venice! Ok, if you want to spend double you may get a canal view but that aside, great place to explore Venice. Staff spoke good English and friendly, Wi-Fi free and worked well, beds comfortable. All round good value.
The only reason I marked slightly down on comfort was the size of the bath. (Tiny). With no shower curtain we were reluctant to soak the bathroom so had to use it. (We did wonder if it was a wet room). That said we checked other's rooms in our party and they had much better bathrooms. Maybe we were unlucky. (Room 60 if you want to avoid it!).
Stairs extreme no assistance Breakfast lacking Needs a fresh look..looks tired
The staffs are very nice. Location is good.
room is small
Excellent location Helpful staff
Breakfast area cramped. Not large enough for a hotel of this size but able to get seats because no-one was inclined to stay very long
Nice staff good location good breakfast!
good all round hotel
no where to put soap in shower sounds silly but true
Staff were excellent - very friendly and efficient. Towels changed daily. Air con worked well. All major sights easily accessible, along with restaurants etc.
Room was rather small - not unexpected in a city centre. No drawers to speak of, but no problem really for a short stay.
Great location near the St. Marco square. Rooms in "Venice style" are very beautiful. New good plumbing. Very good hotel for smile price!
We liked the proximity to St Marks Square and The Grand Canal. The hotel was quiet even though it was on a busy street. The breakfast was nice with cereals, breads, croissants, meat and cheese. Also the coffee was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We would recommend the carpets in the hotel were changed, especially the one on the stairs. The shower in our room (52) was of a poor quality and the door trim came off a couple of times. The design of the window in our room wasnt ideal. Also the air condtioning wasnt too good.
Rooms 63 and 65 on the top floor were very Venetian in style with modern bathroomsk
Our rooms were on the 4th floor and the lift did not always work. The public areas were very shabby.
close to main attractions, good breakfast (fresh pastry, good coffee, selection of salumi), room size ok
the bathroom shower a bit odd, no cabin and the whole bathroom was full of water
The staff was not very friendly. The rooms were very stuffy. The entrance was horrible. Apart from the location we thought everything else was terrible.
The location is good :)
Breakfast buffet :(
This was a nice hotel, fairly easy to find considering Venice is very hard to navigate around in. It was close to St. Marks square as well as the Rialto Bridge. This it was easy to get to the water taxi's. We were only in Venice for one night and this hotel was fine for that. We're able to store our bags for our later flight. The room we got was small, but fine for our needs.
Wifi was slow to get on, but once we did connect it was okay. Our shower stall did not drain properly, so for fear of it overflowing the bathroom we kept our showers short.
Only the location.
Hotel not worth more than $100 CDN a night. Bathroom door didn't even close. Toilet was high and tiny. Shower didn't shut!
It is not very clean, rugs are dirty on the sides, shower had tape on the top , bit locatuon and people at the desk are great
