Nicholas on the front desk was excellent - he made us very welcome, was friendly and very informative with information about buses, where to buy bus tickets and more. Thank you very much, Nicholas!!!
The bathroom was not much more than a "camp cabin". Cleaning just fair. The address is difficult to find: Nr. 13 in Via Palestra does not exist... the hotel is a sort of anex of the Brazile Hotel.
Good location close to Termini and not far from the historical centre.
Lower reception not very friendly staff.
Very basic but great value hotel. 5 minutes walk to the train station.
The staff in Hotel Harmony was very friendly and helpful but unfortunately their front desk closes at 2 pm and you have to deal with the staff in the hotel Brasile downstairs for anything after that. The Brasile staff are rude and unhelpful, especially Nino. He was very lazy and obnoxious. So much so that I would not stay at the Harmony hotel again.
I understand that it is a 2-start. But the rooms and bathroom can be bit neat.
I would recommend the hotel due to its perfect location in Rome, pretty close to railway and metro stations, and not far from some important points to visit in the city. The personnel are very friendly and helpful.
My girlfriend finds that the level of cleanliness should be improved.
Good location (5-10 min from Termini). Good breakfast even there was not many varieties. Clean room. Towels daily changed. Very quiet.
Problems with flushing toilet. Strange guy (black hair) at reception - haven't heard single word from him when asking him for key etc. Not value for price overall. But it is Rome.
Everything was tolerable except the staff. There are two hotels in one building and as I understand the one on the ground floor manages bookings for a certain period of the day. After we checked out when we went to ask the receptionist on the ground floor for some directions the guy just flipped out. Have never seen such a rude person before, he could have just guided us upstairs or said he doesn't know. Really left us with a bad taste after such a great trip in a wonderful city. Disappointing.
Very good personel predisposition. Centric location. Jacuzzi in the bedroom.
You had to keep the button pressed for the elevator to move to the next floor, if released, the elevator stopped.
Best value hotel I've stayed in Rome. Convenient location about 10 minutes walk from central station and about three minutes from the Metro. Clean and tidy. Extremely helpful staff.
At this price I'm not going to criticise anything
The staff was very friendly. The hotel was close to the metro station.
There was a bug in our room and the flush did not work well.
Location (near to Termini and city centre), price
We had a great family room, which was really adjoining rooms with a large bathroom, and the roof terrace was just fab out of our room onto the terrace plenty of towels breakfast was good for the price
The toilet didn't flush well so we had to put the toilet paper in the waste bin, the staff were pleasant, and friendly but they wouldn't give a receipt for payment of hotel or that city tax.
The guy at the desk is very friendly and very helpful - the most helpful we have encountered across Europe so far.
The reception is closed between 2pm and 7am, you have to go to the hotel downstairs for anything you need. That's just weird. We werent told this and walked up to the 4th floor on our first day, only to find we had to go back down to get out key. They have a small bar updtairs that is inaccessible......? There is no Internet, yet you can pick up the signal from the downstairs hotel........if they are so interlinked why not make wifi available to the upstairs hotel? Breakfast was pretty budget - it was ok and provided a small snack for the morning, however the coffee is instant, yet there is a coffee machine in the bar. You have to pay and extra 5 euro per night if you want aircon. I realise it is a 2 star hotel but everything about it screamed penny pinching.
