The television was small.......but we're in Venice....so this was a minor detail.
We had a Cruise to catch the following day. There were three couples waiting to either go to the Port of Venice or Train station, and we were set to leave at 12pm. We were waiting 15-20 minutes after the departure time for these two males, which caused some anxiety, as we needed to be at our Port. Nevertheless, we made it on time, but dropping these two people, who had no rush to be anywhere off first, left some of the guests a bit upset, to say the least. All in all the shuttle service was good and use it if you go. To avoid this kind of thing happening, book an earlier time to leave, and if you are in no rush to be anywhere, don't be disrespectful like these two guys were, and simply take the next bus!
My wife and I stayed in this hotel for one night prior to our cruise with Norwegian Cruise Line. The staff were really helpful, the facilities worked well and were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was perfect for us getting to Venice(on our one day there), and then getting to the Venice Port the following day. They offered shuttle service to Venice and shuttle to the Venice port. They drop you just outside of Venice(2 minute walk to the bridge). There's lots of shops for souvenirs and plenty of places for Gelato and Restaurants/Cafes. The Gondola ride cost us 80 euro and this lasted 40 minutes. Beer was cheaper than water in some places.
Costs for the shuttle services cost 5-10 Euros, it was quick, and there was different times you could arrange for pick up. In fact we changed our time while we were in Venice by calling the hotel(using a phone from a Café server) and it was no problem at all. There was an good amount of little bakeries/shops on the same street where the streetcar runs about a ten minute walk away from the hotel. The breakfast buffet cost us 10 euro(5 euro each) and I think it was worth it.
