Shabby, Cramped little room Bathroom wastes didn't empty External noise from 5am!!

The location was perfect, you can see the hotel sign from the train station. The owner of the hotel was very nice and accommodating. We got a great tour through the hotel as well ( ask nico or francesco about it) our tour guide was perfect, he told you the main points but didn't over talk like most guides do. I would definitely go back.

breakfast was disgusting. I had to climb over bed to access bathroom. No fire exits, no fire escape instructions, narrow stairs, broken banisters. Building is potential death trap in the event of fire. Double room should have been a single room

The bathroom was a little beat-up, and it had a strange smell that seemed to be coming from one of the drains.

I totally agree with other reviews - location, price and comfort - these three things feature this hotel. Breakfast is tasteless but for EUR 35 per night I agree to skip it. Few tips for Napoli visitors: drink coffee at bar Mexico (on the right of plazza Garibaldi), try wonderful pizza at Di Mateo (via dei Tribunali 94) stroll through spanish quarter and don't be afraid Naples is cleaner than one might expect.

very very very good location, just 100 meters from the central station and good price, wonderful breakfast is included, highly recommended.

Hotel close to train station. Didn't overly like Naples full stop but hotel was ok for short stay in Naples. Ok.

Since our train departed early in the morning we needed somewhere to stay for one night. So we choosed Hotel Ideal because of it's location. In common the hotel is quite good for its price.

Breakfast is rather poor.

If you are on a budget, this place is great! Great location, not the nicest part of town, but right next to the main train station.

Noisy as near the site of new metro building site, area is rough and i wouldnt feel comfortable after dark wandering around

Bathroom's smell

The hotel location is very good(practical). Nearby is the train station, metro, circumvesuviana, buses anm, Alibus, etc.The staff is very friendly, especially the gentleman from the bar.Towels were changed every day.Breakfast was ok : tea , coffee ,juice, milk , cereals , jam , butter,croissants,cheese, yoghurt, ham , eggs,toast.

Wi-Fi signal only at bar / breakfast room. The bathroom smelled bad. I don`t think is a 3 stars hotel , I think is a 2 (2.5) stars.

1) We asked a non-smoking room and we entered a room that smells a lot of smoke. 2) The bed needs a new spray! 2 cm difference between the 2 matrasses of the double bed... 3) The worst part. When we checked in, we gave our id-cards for registration. We've got it back one hour later. Parently they forgot to register us, so the guy of the nightshift couldn't wait till the morning and knocked on the door at 1 am!!!!! Seriously, you don't do that! Write a note for the next morning instead of disturbing people in their sleep! Conclusion: take another hotel, their are others next to Piazza Garibaldi.

The location is absolutely fantastic for travellers : both the train station and the airport busstop are a stone's throw away (about 10-15 mins to Capodichino airport by ALIBUS which costs only 3 Euros!!) The room was clean and comfortable and contained everything I needed..the staff were helpful and courteous..all in all,very satisfactory and EXCELLENT value for money!!

It wasn't the quietest of places - but that was only to be expected, given the location..there is a building site right outside of the hotel ( apparently they are modifying the station area), I was there on a bank holiday so there was no work going on,but I reckon that on a normal week day the builders will finish work early evening
