Good, polite and friendly service given by staff. Free parking in the hotel. Fre coffe, tea, beer and aperitif in the lobby. Possibility for free internet on PC in reception area. |

Convenient for visiting the Lucca and other surrounding cities, private car parking and free snacks during the day. Didn't have a problem with the hardness of the bed (although had to ask for an extra pillow). The breakfast was good (but not excellent as many of the other reviews state). Although snacks are available throughout the day there are no coffee making facilities in the room. No spare electrical socket either (had to unplug one of the bedside lamps) |

Excellent central location, nice staff, very good room and breakfast. Beds at first seem hard but turn out to be very good. Bathroom needs some repair (black mold around bathtub seal, water drainage too slow). |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great having free on site parking. The room was more spacious than I expected as was the bathroom. We were made to feel very welcome and would definitely consider returning there. |

In quiet location but still reasonably handy for Lucca town. Good clean & spacious room. Parking facility was helpful. We were placed in the Residence which is 100 yds away from the main hotel. It was raining so it meant taking luggage along main street. Same for breakfast - a bit of a nuisance. We were on the ground floor & although we had a superior room all we could see was the walls on the other side of the road ! |

Stayed in converted 'jailhouse' which was done very tastefully. Complimentary refreshments very welcome A slight inconvenience in being across the road from main hotel - for breakfast and use of terrace |

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The suite was perfect, exceptionally clean and very comfortable, giving us a luxary home from home. Its position was ideal for us to see Lucca for the first time and take in the wonderful sights in the city. Easy to access by car and only 30 mins from Pisa airport. All in all a great place to stay, would book again next time.Strongly recommend this great hotel. |

The excellent helpful and charming staff was the most memorable aspect of staying at this hotel. The standard and variety of food at breakfasts was poor. Orange juice particularly poor quality (watered down). Poor lighting and no coffee making facilities in the bedroom. |

Nice superior room overlooking the terrace. Room small but more than adequate. Reception staff were really delightful and helpful in every way. The use of the lovely leafy terrace surrounded by trees and potted plants was a bonus. Complementary snacks and drinks were available with our package. Bedding was changed every day and bed was turned down every evening and towels refreshed. We received immediate attention on arrival: a porter took baggage to our room and car parking space available. You have to leave car keys at reception as some shufflng is required due to limited spaces but car was accessible when needed. Breakfast was quite good. Perfect location for exploring Lucca and as a base for wider touring of the area. There was nothing not to like about this hotel. My only adverse comment is that the bed was very hard but this is my experience in many Italian hotels. |

The hotel had a wonderful, friendly atmosphere. The staff were extremetly friendly and helpful and nother was too much trouble. The hotel provided free refreshments during the daytime, which was a wonderful addition, they also provided free bicycles for guest's use. The description of the hotel does not do it justice, the hotel is excellent and I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to friends and family. The beds were rather hard. Our bathroom did have some black mould around the bath but we didn't report it. I am sure that if we had reported it, it would have been dealt with immediately. |

The air conditioning worked and the hotel is inside the walls of Lucca The decor was very poor, the details in the guide books were obviously written some time ago and are misleading. One described this hotel as the "poshest in Lucca", unfortunately this is not true, more travel lodge! |

Exceptionally quaint and beautiful hotel, built from the stables of an old Manor. Nice and friendly. And as they say the people make all the difference....the staff are amazingly helpful and nice...Would love to go back there again... |

For a 4 star the room was very small but I think they have bigger rooms...I arrived very late just for one night and I did not ask to change room; also for breakfast I could not have a real cappucino....raccomando hotel sempre con una camera più grandi... |

Everything! Such a beautiful room with plenty of space for the four of us. Have stayed in many hotels and the staff here are among the best I've encountered. They are wonderful - always very helpful and kind - like staying with family. Free use of bicycles and afternoon drinks were very much appreciated by our two energetic boys! Lovely breakfast, wonderful location - would love to go back some day. No - everything was perfect. |
