The location is great. The price includes breakfast and parking. One block away from one of the doors of the medieval city.
We arrive earlier, around11.30. Check in is at 2, so we asked if the room was ready, otherwise we would leave the luggage in the car and go to explore the city. They told us to wait a few minutes. One hour later, I went to check what was going on and the lady said: what can I do for you?. I answered: I need my key.... On top of it we went to the room and the bed was not made......really.
Made to feel welcome by helpful staff. Good facilities. An easy and interesting walk to the town centre. Breakfast was good with a wide selection.
The room was a bit tired and the bed hard, but overall the hotel was just what you would expect for two stars.
Friendly staff, good facilities and ideal position
Fantastic location that was easy to reach by car, with plenty of parking, but also close enough to walk into the heart of Siena comfortably.
Split double bed was very uncomfortable.
Superb views onto Siena and only 10 minutes walk into the centre of the old town. Staff was very friendly and helpful and room comfortable and clean. Also great to have a refreshing swim in the pool and breakfast was good.
Although it didn't cause us to lose any sleep, the walls of the rooms were not the most soundproof.
wonderful quiet situation of hotel but close to old town sights, bar and restaurants. Family run hotel, everyone very helpful. Lovely swimming pool with wonderful view.
Room quite small but nice balcony
Beautiful Location with wonderful view of Siena, very friendly staff
The location was perfect to visit the city on foot. The staff were extremely helpful.
Good breakfast. Great pool. Great view.
Very friendly welcome, helpful staff and great pool area.
Old fashioned room but we were in old part of hotel so maybe that's why- great sized room though just a little old fashioned
Position, view, parking place, fitness room
Our stay was ok altogether. Just make sure you inform the hotel if you intend to arrive later than 21. We didn't do that and the owner shouted at us at our arrival. He was extremely rude. Never experienced anything like that. Besides, he had our number so he could have done it himself. At least that's what receptions usually do. The rest of the staff (e.g his wife, sons, barman) was friendly though. Also make sure you get a room in the new building, there's a huge difference between the rooms in the new building and the few remaining older ones.
Friendly staff, good parking, nice view.
The hotel has no elevator.
The staff (mostly Giana) at the front desk was so incredibly helpful!! The setting and location of the hotel was perfect for our needs!
Very thin, non-insulated walls, so noise from our snoring neighbors was our late night entertainment. Also the beds and pillows were not that comfortable … but these were minor compared to the fantastic staff service and support!!
(+) nice breakfast
(-) public pool open to everyone & overcrowded, just ridiculous (-) rarher a 1* hotel/hostel, not 2** (-) tiny bathroom, probably 1 m2 (-) cockroaches
The facilities were very nice. We didn't use the pool but the view of Siena from the dining room was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small, especially for two mature men who needed more space. The breakfast was excellent - the best I've had in an Italian hotel.
The distance to walk to the campo and duomo area was discouraging. There was no bath soap in the shower. Fortunately we had brought our own.
Walking distance of the city centre (15 min) with parking and a pool. Very friendly owner who recommended some nice restaurants to eat in the town of Sienna and provided us with maps. Good breakfast with freshly made cappuccino. There was a safe in the room.
Location, parking, piscine, comfort room, clean facilities. The personnel was very kind, helpful and obliging.
The breakfast could be more "generous". A refrigerator, would also be convenient, especially during the summer days. The hotel is kindly requested to place a curtain to the window of the bathroom (Rm 16).
Swimmingpool was a very good friend for the really hot weather. Breakfast was very good.
Insectes such as big mosquitos were in the corredor, meaning that may be it should be cleaned more often.
Great pool and great parking. Only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Siena, less than 5 minutes to the city walls. The room was a good size and clean, breakfast was nice with good coffe. Siena is an amazing place to visit and this hotel is a great place to stay.
LOCATION!!! Barely 15-20min walk to the Piazza del Campo, while offering a parking and a pool; Breakfast room, with view on Siena - Beautiful! Friendliness of the staff
Nothing comes in mind, our stay was excellent!
Located just outside the city wall - great for those traveling via automobile as there is free parking. Easy to walk to the city (10 minutes). Nice breakfast
breakfast was good, staff very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you arrive by car as it offers a parking space and you will still be within a short walking distance from the center of Siena.
a little bit of noise in the morning as people were passing by our room to get to the breakfast room
Very good location, which just located near the mountain, has a perfect view of old town and Torre Del Mangia. Less then five mins of walking time to reach the castle wall and get in side the old town.
location, friendly staff
Easy walk into the town. Beautiful view from the breakfast room. Large room, with comfortable bed. Swimming pool and small gym.
