Cremona Hotels Impero  

The location in the center of Cremona is wonderful. The Duomo,lit beautifully at night is just down the road and the civic buildings with Stradivarius violins on display (under armed guard!) are very close. Cremona is a lovely old town for walking. The buffet breakfast was great and individually made cups of cappucino were the best of the trip. The reception staff were very helpful and one spoke very good English. We did like the nearby Duomo hotel restaurant and ate there every evening. WiFi is available but no public computer.

It is an old building so the rooms are a little small but adequate. There is no food available once breakfast is over.

Great location in the main Piazza of Cremona. Kind of a one-horse town, but we only stayed one night and the bars in the square made it a fun and lively.

The reception was very friendly & helpful & the situation for the main points of interest could not be bettered.They also recommended a good restaurant & arranged 10% discount

I traveled here for the experience of hearing the priceless violins "exercised" (reservations suggested, tickets at the library bookstore under the portico). I couldn't have had a better location for all the sights of Cremona. The hotel is both elegant and cozy, with an attentive staff. I had asked for a quiet location, so was given an inside courtyard view which was rather dark most of the time. However, the high-ceilinged room was comfortable, with a double bed, and it had a nice bathroom. There were two excellent restaurants nearby - La Sosta, and Ristorante Il Violino.

During breakfast, large groups took over the rather small dining area for two of the three days I was there. Nice selection of food, though.

Bel albergo, ristaurato di recente, in mezzo al centro storico. Personale molto accogliente e gentile. Belle camere sapaziose, la mia finestra dava sul Palazzo del Comune e si vedeva il campanile del Duomo. Bagni spaziosi e luminosi, pulizia impeccabile. Prezzo più che ragionevole

La disponibiltà e la preparazione dello staff e la qualità dei servizi

Nulla in particolare, mi aspettavo di più da un 4 stelle, molto di più

Rumorosità degli impianti in modo veramente fastidioso. Struttura vecchia, salviette piccole, niente accappatoio, camere arredate in modo vecchio e con poca luce. Purtroppo hotel da non ritornarci.

Non vale minimamente, almeno per la camera assegnatami, il costo. Non sembra proprio un quattro stelle. La camera con una unica finestra ( il bagno ne era soprovvisto) affaccia su un interno dal quale passano I tubi di scarico dei bagni dei piani superiori. Pochissima luce sia in camera che nel bagno.Colazione ai minimi termini.
