The staff answered every question we asked. The breakfast had great choices for getting the day started. The rooms were very stylish and comfortable. Ask for a balcony overlooking the sea! |

The hotel and location and weather were so nice that we extended our stay from two to three nights. We cancelled our day in Milan to do it, and are happy that we did. It was a lovely place. Recommend that guests not even consider the rooms without a sea view. Restaurant menu was not inviting to us, and prices high, so we ate at other nearby restaurants. |

The cleanliness and the position of the hotel. Plus the seaview from the balcony. The food was excellent. The cleaner kept our rooms spotless, also her cheery smile every morning made our day. The pillows were very hard. Also my wife thought there should have been tea/coffe making facilities in the room. But that is only a minor point, I should add. |

The hotel location is superb. All of the staff were extremely nice, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They went out of the way to help or answer questions. There was nothing to dislike. |

The scenery was stunning although not all visible from the hotel. Convenient location for town. The room was small, dirty and cheaply furnished. Very little parking. Advertised private beach is concrete and not free. |

Beautiful location, ideal for exploring the Cinque Terre region; friendly and relaxed atmosphere; good quality food and excellent choice of buffet breakfast; wonderful sea view rooms if you're lucky to get one. Dinner menu was rather limited, so we did not eat there. |

Great location: the view from our room was fantastic! Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room at the harbor side was very quite. We had several dinners and the quality was always good. Breakfast is excellent with a great view of the harbor! Parking is somewhat limited. |

The staff were very friendly and the hotel's situation is superb Our room was small and basic, it had only a shower (no bath). We were charged the same as our friends who had a much bigger room with a bath. |

It was in a good situation. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. A must to have a sea view - it was worth paying the extra. The bathing facilities were poor. There was no private beach as indicated in the description but a private terrace which was accessed via the Bar next door. You had to climb down wooden stairs to a real grotty changing area (best to change in the hotel) and then access onto the terrace. The sea is quite deep here so not suitable for children. |

Enjoyed the fact that there were so many places to have a meal and the little bar on the sea front was a regularly used venue for lunch. The views from our balcony were exceptional and the surrounding areas well worth a second visit. Loved it all and although Portofino was on our list, we actually preferred staying in Rapallo. |

Since our stay was only for one night our experience is limited, but the different reception staff we met were all very nice and helpful, giving us valuable information not only concerning the hotel. We were quite pleased with our stay. The breakfast was served at very small tables (we were more than 2) and the service in the breakfast room could have been more attentive. |

The location is nice if you have a room facing the sea. the hotel needs urgent renovation, which in fact is being done right now. the new rooms look nice - the old ones try to avoid. you need to stay facing the sea, otherwise it is very noisy. |
