We would stay here again in a heartbeat. A fantastic location, right on the edge of the harbor with a public beach within 25 feet of the front door. The view is magnificent; the harbor, restored fort in the harbor, the town and mountains. The harbor view rooms face west and have sun all day. The restaurant is quite good with table seating on the water. Very comfortable rooms and beds, we were in two rooms. Each with a very generous terrace. The upper rooms have smaller balconies. The rooms have been recently remodeled and the quality of the materials and design is very good. In general a very comfortable place, with a good staff and a location that is to die for. This hotel is not for those looking for modern amenities or to be pampered. It is just for those who appreciate good quality & service in a setting and location that is excellent. We had planned on staying one night, but once there we cancelled our Milan visit and stayed an additional two nights. The staff was very accommodating. The showers are small and the lift is quite far from the lobby.

Perfect location -- wonderful sea views from all the lounge areas and the restaurant. Two minute walk to the ferry/taxi to Portofino and Santa Margherita and close to shops and restaurants as well as convenient to the train station. Easy to travel to and from Cinqueterre by train from the hotel. Next to a small beach. Lovely walking distance to San Michelle. Computer access. Helpful friendly staff. Reasonable price. Complete breakfast included. NIce linens. Even my room (the least expensive offered at the hotel) thought small and without a view, was very clean and the ceilings were high, good plumbing and lighting.

Perfect locality - max 5 minutes walking from the railway station, by the seaside and in the center of the town My room had windows on a busy street and it was a problem to keep them open in the night. Besides, if you live the hotel earlier than 7.30 you will stay without breakfast (they don't cook it). So if you stay here for more than 1-2 nights it's better to live in rooms with windows on the seaside

Lovely position and really helpful staff. The best bacon I have tasted on a European trip! Rapallo is one of our favouite places and we will certainly return to area and hotel. Not a criticism but we paid extra for the superior room with Sea View and all was very nice except that you were expeced to share a, admittedly large, balcony. We asked to be moved to a less expensive room with its own balcony and they accommadated us nicely: best to check when you book. For perfection they would have a coffee machine in the foyer as there are no facilities in the room. There is no pool and you have to pay for use of the lido. Hmm..

The triple room 104 which we had had an access to a magnificent huge terrace offering a spectacular view on the Rapallo bay. Also Lido has it's own private beach. The service was friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful view morning & night from the balcony and the excellent breakfasts. The clear seas & watching the fish swimming round below. Strolls along the promenade or the pedestrianised streets. Short boat trip to Porto Fino & St Margheritta. No kettle for tea/coffee

The location is fantastic by the sea. Be sure to book at room with a balcony and seaview. The hotel has six park´s sites in front of the hotel, and you have to be there early to get one, and dont leave while you stay there, because then you will lose it and it is almost impossible to get at parking spot in town. The staff at the hotel restaurant was not very nice, and the food didn´t have the highest class, but there are a lot of other restaurants nearby. Go there instead.

Our room was lovely and had a panoramic view of the harbor. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The location was good as we walked the Cinque Terre on 3 of our 4 day stay and the close proximity to the train made the daily travel easy. It took about 40 minutes. The complimentary breakfasts were very good and the restaurant for evening meal has a lovely outside option on waterfront. Rapallo is a lovely town and we enjoyed the beach, restaurants, shopping and a very good market on our last day. We would recommend the hotel unreservedly and would love to return. We only have positive comments to make.

The hotel is in a fantastic location - at the quiet end of the promenade, facing an old fort which is lit up beautifully at night. We sat on our balcony every evening and had one of the best views of Rapallo. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The hotel is right on the beach front in a beautiful and great location. The windows are double-glased and eventhough the busy road is on the other side of the hotel the rooms are surprisingly quiet. The breakfast is fantastic, there's so much to choose from. They have a small private beach that is accessible through the bar next door for a small amount.Very handy if you would like a drink or a bite while you are enjoying the sun and the water. The hotel has it's own restaurant, but there are many more to choose from along the promenade. Well, they have Wi-Fi set up in the hotel, but it is only accessible in the mezzanine level of the reception area. So there is no Wi-Fi access in the rooms. If you would like to use the internet you most likely have to do so in company with other guests. That is quite ok,but if you happen to want to use Skype to talk to family back home you might have to do it during the night as during the day it is just way too noisy near the reception.

The view from the balcony. The location of the hotel. I didn't agree with having to pay to use the hotel's private beach. Fortunately the free beach was just outside the front door.
