This hotel was in a great location - a 5-10 minute walk (uphill but not too steep) from the car park, which was reasonably priced (€12 for 24 hrs), and yet right in the heart of the town.
It was full of character, and the owners clearly love art - our room was called Puccini, and had opera-related pictures on the wall.
Our room had fantastic views of the rooftops and of the wonderful Umbrian landscape.
The bathroom was lovely - although while we were there, we had no hot water. The morning receptionist we reported it to couldn't speak English, so we didn't know whether this was a temporary problem or something more ongoing.
The afternoon receptionist, however, spoke excellent English, and gave us superb recommendations about what to see and where to eat.
Definitely a great choice!
