This elegant 12th-century building was once home to the Doge Marino Falier. Just 1000 ft from Rialto Bridge, it offers elegant rooms with antique furniture and original paintings.

Location only and people were friendly
Only one lift take you up and very slow and rooms very old.
This hotel was just what we were looking for in Venice. Great location in an arty type environment. Breakfast included. Had a lovely balcony to watch the gondola pass by.
My stay was good and the staffs were very helpful to finding the local places .
Hotel is centrally located and very close to San Marco Square.
1.Beds are unconfortable and too old. 2.Breakfast too poor. 3.No view from the room window. 4.No shower jel and shampoo. 5.I do not recommend it to anybody.
Loved the suite we got. Very comfortable bed, lots of extra room and a great bathroom. Hotel staff was fantastic with lots of suggestions and information.
This is not 4*!!!
Loved our room! The decor and very comfortable! Also the best cappuccino.
The entrance of the hotel did not show the beauty of the rooms.
The atmosphere - culture, tradition, the stylish way the rooms are equipped
The location is very good.
We found the room a bit overheated and the heating could not be adjusted. Everything else was excellent.
staff was wonderful and very helpful
Ridiculously expensive for the accommodations which were barely acceptable. Breakfast was only ok. Recommendation for restaurant by hotel staff was probably the worst of our entire trip. Would never return. And would not recommend this hotel. Have friends who are going to Venice and have made a point to tell them NOT to book this hotel.
It's a nice and well-furnished hotel which as very good situated- absolutely central and absolutely quiet!
They have problems with the water pipes, no pressure only drops of water- and the heating didn't work, it was very cold and rainy weather, so the stay at the bathroom was quite a challenge.
Venice, every five years or so since 1951.
The location, the afternoon lady at the front desk who was always smiling, the ac in the room.
The fact that there were insects in the room, that I had to kill. They could have done a better job at cleaning the bathroom where the insects were. I was able to find them in the exact same spot I saw them before. Not properly attended to: the same glass I found upon my arrival was there until the last day, they never bothered to change it or give me a clean one. The hotel is not worth the 4 stars it claims to have.
