Hotel La Fenice et Des Artistes  

Absolutely top location in the heart of Venice, room was very nice and romantic, with ample closet and bathroom space, a fine bed for a loving couple ;) and a fridge for cooling one's own wine. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

At a hotel of this price category, ham&cheese for breakfast could be more varied, not every morning the same (low-cost) slices.

Well positioned off the busy areas in the city hence a quiet location. Once found the first time, returning was easier! A typical continental hotel decorated with an interesting selection of artwork. The desk staff were outstanding and very very helpful. Language was no problem as they all spoke English beautifully.

Service in the breakfast room was slow in replenishing supplies (it is self service which was fine). Wifi in more places would be beneficial, it is only available in the bar area.

Loved the rooms! In fact, loved the decor of the entire hotel, especially the little balconies overlooking the square. Restaurant next door was excellent!

If you are not prepared for the geography of Venice, finding this hotel is a challenge. People should go prepared with a map of Venice in hand. With bulky luggage best to have a porter meet you at the vaporetto/taxi stop to carry all your stuff. There are many steps up and down the bridges to navigate. Make sure you arrive in the daytime if it's your first time in Venice.

The hotel is extremely cosy! We are a newly married couple and we enjoyed our stay very much.Our room had a small balcony that overlooked the canal, so the hotel surpassed my expectations. :)

Maravillosa atención, todo el personal muy cordial. Te ayudaban en todo lo que podían, dándote sobre la ciudad, tan fabulosa, datos que no estaban en ninguna guía de turismo, un conocimiento de la historia y la cultura del mundo y de Venecia por parte de los que estan en el Front Desk impresionante, sobre todo Marco y fantástico la elegancia en el vestir que portan. Como en los tiempos de otrora, que no se ve en el resto de Europa con la famosa crisis económica. Nada a cambiado allí, o sino lo ha hecho para mejor. Todo muy bien, atención personalizada, sin multitudes, en el hotel, y la ubicación es ideal, para visitar Venecia a pie. La pasé excelente y lo recomiendo para la gente que le gusta vivir como antes, en el siglo xxi y es mi mejor recuerdo de éste viaje. Martha Mercedes Bosch Ruiz

Le lugar representó lo típico del lugar, sin perder la calidad de un buen lugar-

Beliggenheden som er 5 minutters gang fra Markuspladsen er sublim og der er også kun 5 minutter til Vaporetten ved Giglio-stoppestedet, hvor båden til lufthavnen afgår fra. Personalet var søde, rare og hjælpsomme. Bl.a. lånte vi en privat mobiloplader af en receptionist.

Værelser og indretning kunne trænge til en opfriskning. Klimaanlægget virkede ikke, men det gør det forhåbentligvis til sommer når det bliver rigtigt varmt ;-)

Sus cristaleras antiguas y el pequeño patio. Desayuno normal.

Caro para las instalaciones de que disponen: ascensor a partir del primer piso, problemas con el agua caliente (poca) y las tuberías (no tragan bien), la tv antigua ( imagen sin calidad y sin canales internacionales), servicio desatento (imposible conseguir otra almohada aunque te dicen que sí).
