Hotel Lancaster    

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. My morning cappucino was provided without prompting - which after an Italian wedding was very much appreciated! The beds are also very comfy and I slept well throughout our stay.

If you are a light sleeper then the noise from the traffic/train station may be an irritant for you. (I personally did not mind this though.) There was a very loud party across the street one night but this is not something under the control of the hotel. One pity was that the wifi did not seem to reach our room very well - but again, this is a very minor point.

I loved everything about this hotel. Great location the staff wonderful, the rooms are design lovely and planned very well. I would call it, as we say in America, a boutique hotel, interesting art work, colors and layout. The staff warm and friendly and wonderful. I stayed here on 2 separate occasions while in Italy this trip. The put out a great breakfast and there is always a friendly smile from the staff members.

The hotel is close to the city center (about 10-15 minutes on foot), both room and bathroom was spacious and clean, the breakfast was good in a cosy decorated dining room and the staff was friendly and polite. The car parking is very close to the hotel and cheap comparatively to others.

There is a little noise from the tram but it is tolerable.

Rooms on the outside a little bit noisy due to tram passing but it was not such a big issue.

One of the receptionist was very impolite and wrongly accused me to lie, a very unpleasant behavior for a hotel of this class.

I liked very much kindness of the staff. Breakfast is very good, they give you real cappuccino. Rooms are comfortable and silent. I stayed in a single occupancy room and it was perfect for my needs. I will definitely return to Lancaster next time.

Staff were really friendly and easy check in. Pointed me to great restaurants and ordered taxis on time for me. Room was a bit small (even for a single room) but cleaned everyday and toilet had everything provided.

City tax when leaving hotel of €7 for 3 days was news to me unless I missed the charge on booking form. But not a bid issue

It was perfect for our 3 nights city break, The Hotel Interior condition was in a very good state...& has very nice standard for a 3star Hotel. Rooms are well kept & very clean with spacious bathrooms,sky tv,minibar,Kettle, desk area...the street rooms might be a bit noisy for some..& the Hotel it`s sitiuated in a residensial area...breakfast was good as well....the normal cold cuts & continental...plus a good selections of sweets.... It`s either 10/15 mins walking to Porta Nuova Train station or Park Valentino near the river Poo....Also It is about 25 mins Walking from the city centre.. but then if you dont like walking tram stops are just outside the hotel....& in less then 8/9mins,6stops with tram number4 you will be in the city centre....

what we didnt like is that altough we requested a non smoking room.... The Curtians had a strong smell of cigarettes on them....which we had to leave the window open 24/7 during our stay to keep the smell off.

Comfotable

nice and fine hotel, very pleasent pleace to stay. The staff speeks good English and are very helpfull. One remark: in front of the hotel is a street which good give some noise, we had a room on the back side: it was lovely and quiet.

A very nice hotel, close to the city center and train station (15 minites on foot), easy to find. Room was clean and cosy. We were happy to find a kettle in the room. The breakfast was good with juces, coffe and tea, muesly, cheese and salumi, cookies and croissants, eggs and yogurt. There was also free Wi-Fi.

Our window were facing the street where each few minutes passed a tram. So, I was woken up in the morning by the road sounds.

Per essere un tre stelle , è stata davvero una bellissima sorpresa, mi è paiciuto subito e moltissimo, nn c'è niente da lamentarsi, è tutto perfetto, moderno e nn pesante, anche il breakfast è bellissimo, è vastissimo nn finisce mai, è così che si fa, anche il serveur è molto gentile,sono soddisfattissimo

Il lancaster Hotel è un ottimo albergo sia per un soggiorno turistico a Torino sia come base per soggiorni d'affari o per frequentare le fiere. Vicino al centro ma servito bene dai servizi pubblici. La sera è comunque conveniente prendere un taxi per andare in centro.

Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, molto comoda la fermata del tram a pochi metri
