Meridiana Country Hotel is in the Tuscan countryside, 12 miles from Florence. It offers a free fitness area with sauna, and rooms with private patio or balcony. Parking and internet are free.
Score from 429 reviews Excellent
Situated 350 metres from the Calenzano-Sesto Fiorentino exit of the A1 Motorway Hotel Albatros offers free parking, and rooms with free Wi-Fi. Florence is only 3 km away.

Score from 110 reviews Very good
Good location to visit Florence.
Hard to find when travelling in the night. Poor signs of the hotel.
Nice area and great breakfast. Beds was superior.
Spa personal wasn't able to give treatments every day in the week.
For 45 Eur near Florence - we didn't expect that it would be so comfortable! Green quite place, but not far from highway. 15 min drive from Firence. Very tasty big breakfast, included. Local dishes in the restaurant for diner (not inc.). Clean. And so friendly personnel! Thank You! We hope to come again
Very nace place
great restaurant food excellent
hotel rooms dated and a bit grubby looking and view from balcony of what can only be described as like a junk yard
Everything was very good!
Price, quiet sleep
Restaurant is just okay, morning cappuccino not up to Italian standard, hotel is rather old and run down, entry gate looks like you're entering a deserted property haunted by ghosts :)
Staff, breakfast, view, location.
Thin walls, smokey smelling rooms. NOTE: Never allow a karaoke night at your hotel!
Amazing place! Very delicious restaurant!
Very friendly staff, has the feeling of a 'local peoples' place, esp. the restaraunt which is excellent value for money. Clean and spacious. Lots of parking space. Nice room with balcony overlooking the hills. Not too far from an exit on the A1. I made a last minute booking for a stop on the way to Florence but wished I could stay a few more nights.
The A1 is visible up on the hill behind but not really audible. There was some construction work around the entrance down the road from the hotel which looked a bit messy when you first arrive.
The location was simply wonderful, surrounded by green mountains covered by trees until the very top. The restaurant served very genuine food and clearly took care of the customers.
The breakfast was quite basic. The Wi-fi connection for Internet was extremely slow, close to be not usable. Slightly too expensive for being in the middle of nowhere. We took 3 rooms, and they were not all of the same quality. One was clearly with older forniture and not as newly renovated as the others.
view from the window, wifi was good
dirty plates in breakfast :( room felt kind of "naked", this is one of the hotels that looks better in the pictures than in real life :(
Nice view from the window, the nature is wonderful, breakfast was quite ok.
Floor was dirty, the door of the bath did not work properly, the walls were thin, we could hear the noises of other rooms like shouting or water running.
Price was good. No problems at check in. We stayed here twice for one night each time on our way driving to another location. Fresh juice and the local farm products were good at breakfast, but they didn't have them both times we went. Nice balcony and patio area for breakfast or an apertivo/happy hour. It was quiet for us even in August during a high tourist season.
Restaurant at the hotel is OK. I've had better food in Italy, but it was very convenient. I don't think it is run by the hotel, just co-located. We missed the hotel driving the first time. The entrance is a little tricky to get off the main road and there were no signs. A 100 meter heads up sign that it was coming up would have helped.
- beautiful surroundings
- hard to find even with GPS - credit card terminal did not work therefore unable to pay by credit card
Close to Barberino Outlet
Slow or no Wi-Fi. Breakfast is horrible. Couldn't find neither milk nor coffee. The room was old and needed renovation. No air conditioning
Fantastic views from the rooms at the rear of the hotel, they were amazing to wake up to in the morning. The site is very secluded and private. Rooms were basic, but still pleasant and staff were very friendly. Restaurant below the hotel serves nice food, is very well priced and the staff are friendly.
Didn't affect us, but I imagine rooms without the view would be a bit drab. If we didn't have a hire car we would have been stuck as the hotel is 40 minutes from Florence. There's no pool and the outdoor seating area is fairly minimalist. Although nice, the restaurant service is very slow.
breakfast wifi connection pleasant staff
small room for two person we booked separated beds, but we did not get it
Good hotel for overnight stay (1 - 2 nights), simple furniture, clean. Good price, close to Firenze. Excellent cuisine - we enjoyed dinner very much and for reasonable price.
It is close to the highway - noisy if open window. Breakfast poorer quality.
The Restaurant provides excellent food at really affordable prices. Easy booking via booking.com. Nice and friendly personnel.
The motorway is close and very busy and to some extent noisy. My double room was OK for a night or two, but too small for a longer stay.
The little restaurant downstairs was excellent value for money - had the best pasta dish we experienced in the whole of Italy.
The breakfast was very simple.
The art, decor, wifi, AC, TV. Pool looked nice. Grounds maintained well. Good breakfast menu.
Gravel parking lot. Tiny elevator.
Nice view, good location in the country, but near the highway.
Excellent ambiance, very helpful staffs, excellent breakfast, nice location. Do not book here if you are not travelling by car.
Very good location for visiting Venice. Good breakfast and helpful staff.
Very small room without good cooling system and with tiny bathroom.
