Hotel Le Calette  

The only thing Nice about the hotel was the deck on the sea. The rest was all poor and I was amazed on how come this hotel could be a 4 star, this could never be a 4 star, maybe a 2 star. I was very desapointed and unbelivable how could they charge me the price of a 4 star hotel for this unconfortable bed!!! Do not believe on the photos they show (except the sea deck)!

The hotel is very old and unconfortable. The bedroom smels realy bad and it's a bedroom for max a 2 star hotel. The tv is from 1990! That's why they never show the tv on the photos. We traveled for 15 days arround sicily only on 4 star hotels and this was by far the worst one! The number of stars should be fixed urgently! Even on the city information signs, the hotel is mentioned as a 3 star.

I loved my Stay. If going to Sicily, Cefalu is a great place for a headquarter and Le Calette is a wonderful walk, just out of town with harbour views. Swimming is safe and beautiful and steps down very comfortable. Rooms are small,m but it is Europe. Has all the facilities one needs on a holiday with very comfortable beds. It is a family owed Hotel and the staff are very helpful and the breakfast superb. I recommend it to the young and young at heart.

The only "modern" glitch is WiFi is not in the rooms. But, access is free and in the Lounge area.

Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Facilities were not luxurious, but were very acceptable and clean. Food was excellent, and the inclusive buffet breakfast was exceptional, for both variety and quality. Bar area and pool were both very nice. Hotel setting was beautiful with great views.

Very limited lunch menu. Room rates were high. Tiny tv in room.

The location and facilities are very good. Staff is friendly and welcoming. We would have loved to stay longer; a place to relax with Cefalu at walking distance. Lovely terrace with seaview.

Rooms are alright but would benefit of a bit of renovation.

The hotel is situated on the coast with lovely views to the sea and the small port nearby. It is a low rise building set into the cliffs overlooking the sea. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The poolside beds are among the most comfortable I have come across anywhere! The breakfast room is pleasant and airy and the selection of fresh fruits, cereals, cakes, hot and cold meats and dairy produce is more than adequate for all tastes. It is so refreshing to be able to make your own freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast! La Calette is situated about a twenty minute walk from the old town of Cefalu. The staff were particularly appreciative if spoken to in italian! I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to others.

The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the resort. There is one other hotel nearby but no little cafes or restaurants.

Easy access from motorway, swimming pool, walking distance from centre, friendly staff.

Sea access closed even in late April, poor maintenance of room facilities (safe and fridge not working), overpriced lunch.

L'arredamento dell'albergo e la location.

Prachtige locatie. Zwembad en terras met zeezicht. Zwembad is prima, alleen wat koud (we waren in de herfstvakantie). Strandje makkelijk te bereiken. Kamer aan de kleine kant, maar de patio buiten maakte dit wel goed door het mooie weer. Service erg luxe. Vooral ontbijt was erg uitgebreid en heerlijk. Maar ook de lunch (als je die bestelde) was top: zelfd een tosti wordt nog met veel klasse gemaakt en geserveerd. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor tripjes naar Palermo en binnenland.

Hotel grenst aan kleine woonwijk. Daar zat een duitse herder die erg veel lawaai maakte. Was af en toe storend, maar mee te leven.

Le Calette heeft een goed ontbijt. Goede bedden. Een privé strandje met goede ligbedden, parasols, maar geen zand strand. Wel zee mogelijkheid. Vanuit Cefalu rechtstreeks met de trein naar Palermo.

Wifi werkt alleen vlak bij de receptie. Hotel is niet op loopafstand van het centrum of zandstrand. De shuttelbus rijdt slechts een aantal keer per dag. Wij betaalden €100,00 euro per nacht, incl. Ontbijt als aanbieding. Meer is het ook niet waard.

Mooie locatie met zwembad. Het plaatsje Cefalu is erg mooi.

Bel hôtel, bien situé en bord de mer. Piscine, jacuzzi et plage de galets dans les rochers très argéables.Chambre avec vue mer et terrasse spacieuses. Salle de bains confortable.

L'hôtel, dans son ensemble, mériterait plus d'entretien car datant de 1969, des réfections plus régulières seraient souhaitables. En cas de pluie, les portes-fenêtres des chambres avec terrasses ne sont pas étanches! Les ampoules d'éclairage défectueuses ( entrée de la chambre et terrasse ) ne sont pas remplacées d'office par le personnel. Le client privé, séjournant hors d'un groupe de voyage organisé peut se sentir délaissé. Quelques désagréments, bruits, bousculades lors des buffets matinaux, etc...sont provoqués par des " hordes " germaniques ou françaises séjournant sans aucun scrupules ni discrétion.

Nergens van. Ze maken valse reclame. Suite a 300€ p/nacht, vanaf de receptie met 2 kids en je koffers 7 minuten via lange weg en trappen op en af lopen. Naar strand is 150 mrt naar beneden dito. Geen douche maar alleen een bubbelbad. Service is erg slecht, moesten een uur op lunch wachten, met maar 3 andere tafels om te bedienen. Leuk hotel als je je bergschoenen en je rugzak meeneemt en je kids thuis laat. En het personeel keek ons raar aan toen we bij t inchecken onze koffers al bij ons hadden, slechte service en nog slechtere locatie, nooit meer hier, al was de suite gratis!!!!!!!
