Staff sometimes wasn't really efficient e.g. with taxi ordering. They were very laid back to help us to get to the airport and at the end we were late. The shower had a really weak pressure and the room wasn't tidy.
The breakfast was nice and the location was fairly good.
Hot water in morning was not very apparent
Nice old building
The staff is not good, the bedroom we had was really small and it smelled weird when we arrived, the hotel in general is not good and its not reccomended if you want comfort and luxury low-cost.
Its close to most attractions in Pisa like the Torre Pendente and stuff. The breakfast is really good.
The shower had very little water pressure and was not very hot
The staff was very nice and helpful
Very cold room (heating system not working). No way to take the shower - the water was cold! Some kind of mosquitos tried to "eat" us all night...
I didn't like the level of street noise on Friday night; likely not a problem on a weeknight.
Loved the location and visual charm. Breakfast had a good variety of options.
Basic breakfast, no vegetables Very low water pressure in shower
There are several aspects indicating it is a bit run down. The breakfast was terrible. The bed's mattress was in need of replacing but the pillows were nice.
The location is good to get around quickly even though there is a bit of street noise at night.
The hotel is badly maintained, with rooms only just passable in our view. The breakfast was truly horrible, with the coffee being undrinkable and the juice watered to the point where it only had a faint colour of orange and certainly no taste of it.
We liked the position - just about the only thing we did like.
Toilet was leaking, but after telling the staff about it a few times, it was still NOT fixed Keys at night were left on the reception counter, while the front door is open and anyone can just come in and take the keys..
good location nice staff
staff good value comfortable room breakfast
Nighttime street noise
Clean, great location, friendly
Dirty/broken/poor shower facilities and poor water flow and hot water
Excellent location. Staff v. helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was poor!
The buffet breakfast was adequate but there could have been more choice of bread and sometimes the bread rolls could have been fresher. A larger and better toaster would be an advantage!
The Reception staff are very friendly and helpful and the reception desk is manned all the time. The street in which it is located is quiet and almost traffic-free There are a lot of nice places to eat within easy walking distance and the interesting places to visit are within walking distance yet the area around the hotel is not a 'touristy' one.
Every thing at this hotel was good
A bit run down needs a little face lift.
Location was good for our purposes and the staff was friendly and helpful.
a double bed is not two single beds next to each other. This is particularly true when you pay >90 euros.
Location to Duomo, leaning Tower and Baptisery is excellent. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Would recommend
A little difficult to find. Clear walking, bus [which bus, which stop to exit, and walking directions from there] and taxi directions from train station would have been very useful. Ditto, probably, for arrivals at airport. But once there it was very easy to around and to the tower and other main attractions which are mostly situated near each other and within a 5 - 7 minute walk from the hotel.
The very good breakfast with selections of breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, yogurts, cereals, juices, fruit, coffees, teas, jams and more. The free WiFi with good consistent internet connection as also appreciated when so many places want to charge for internet connection service.
room, cleaned room, noisy
location, breakfast and people
The only downside was that you had to pay 6 euros for wifi. We have travelled all over Europe and it is very rare to be charged for wifi.
Loved the location right in the centre of the old town and only a few minutes walk from the leaning tower. Room was small but very nice and had everything we needed.
