Location was good for the fair, and the SanSiro racetrack and football stadium. The staff were chatty and helpful. Lots of satellite TV channels.
The blanket could have been swapped for an unmarked one. Few facilities in the immediate vicinity.
Everything was really good from start to finish from booking in at reception to booking out Staff were very polite and helpful rooms cleaned every day great selection at breakfast Overall nice hotel and nice people.
The front desk staff were exceptional hosts.
Wi-Fi kept cutting out.
Good breakfast, very good coffee. Clean room. Location (5 minute walk to subway station) Nice and helpful staff.
Not enough lighting in the bathroom
Price Wifi Close to metro
A bit slow internet Not the nicest district.
~ Staff are super helpful with good sense of humor. ~ Comfortable bedding ~ Good Shower ~ Great selections for breakfast ~ Good location to underground and access downtown. ~ Parking reserved outside hotel
~ Property is looking a little dated and needs a little fresh paint, the bedrooms look dirty but are in fact quite clean. ~ Wi Fi extremely slow.
Great sleep, buffet breakfast excellent and great staff, good information when required
Wifi not great. Entering hotel through a haze of cigarette smoke!
The staff, the breakfast and location.
The warm, friendly and very helpful staff, good location - one metro line to the duomo and walking distance to the Malpensa airport shuttle.
Mosquitoes in the room
Easy access to underground transport. Just a short walk away to the station will take you to the city centre. Polite and very helpful staff. Reasonable prices. Casa Milan is just a short walk away.
Paula the owner/ day manager is the kind of person you want to meet when vacationing. She goes up and above all to make sure you are comfortable and travel safely. Fantastic value and 3 mins from subway We loved it!!
Friendly and very helpful staff. Excellent location for MiCo conference centre, easy access to the metro line.
The room was ok except for the very loud airconditioning. Even after switching it off, it kept on making noice that disturbed our sleep.
In one of the previous reviews I read 'No problem getting re-fills of coffee at breakfast'. I can assure you that the policy of the hotel has completely changed considering that item. When we checked out I had to pay 16 euros extra for using the bar facilities. We didn't use anything though. The receptionist told us that the amount was for the second coffee we asked at breakfast! We stayed for 4 nights and had to pay 8 x 2 euros for each extra coffee. Even in a bar it only costs 1.3 euro. In my travelling experience of more than 30 years I never had to pay extra for another coffee at breakfast. Having to pay this 16 euros was pure rip-off! It immediately gave me a very bad feeling about this hotel. I will certainly never go back there. It also wiped away the so-called kindness of the receptionist. It's clearly a 'show' that he's staging to rip-off his clients afterwards. Check your bill before paying or even better; don't book an accomodation there.
Extremely helpful staff, for tourist information. A warm and honest welcome every time we woke up or came in. 5 min walk to red Metro line. Breakfast buffet fine, enough choices. Elevator.
had to pay for an extra cup coffee (€2) during breakfast wifi not very strong, or fast (but always available)
I didn't like my 1st room, and after complaining to the manager, he upgraded me for my second night. The staff was helpful and professional. The price was very reasonable.
Decor was quite old and outdated. The hotel is far from the city center, but you can use the money you saved from not staying from not staying in an expensive hotel to take the bus in to the city.
The staff are friendly, informative and efficient. I stayed at a twin room the first night and had to move to a single the second night. The move happened right after breakfast and it's across the floor two rooms down. That's an excellent arrangement. It's also quite close to the Lotto metro station.
The struggle of luggage up and down the stairs of Lotto station was a torture to me, and then there're more stairs to the hotel. Luckily the reception guy gave me a hand when I left, bless him.
Host is very kind, breakfast also really good. And you can get very good air-conditioner.
We stayed at Hotel Lido for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was well sized, with slightly outdated decor, but comfortable beds and good faccilites. The receptionist was very helpful, with lovely ideas where to eat, what to see and how to get around. Breakfast was ample, good coffee, cereal, cold meats, pastries, fruit etc.
We were happy with our room.
The breakfast food is very delicious, and free. Facilities are maintained in a good condition.
Hotel Lido has a great staff - super accommodating and friendly. They are also located a few blocks from an express bus that runs to Malpensa, so you don't have to hop on the metro or go to centrale before a flight.
I didn't get to explore the area much, but it looked to be fairly outside the main drag. Also, the website and booking confirmation said the hotel was 100 yards from the metro. It might be 100 yards, but it's actually down a side street and around the corner. I had to ask a cab driver for directions after wandering around for a bit since I couldn't pull up a map on my phone. Once I got there, things were great.
Very friendly and helpful staff !
Staff were extremely helpful.
WI FI not consistent
Paula at the front desk and the whole staff is very friendly, great breakfast with delicious juices and cakes, very good value for money, close to the metro station
nothing - everything was ok!
The staff were wonderful and service was excellent. I will be returning next year.
