The location was marvelous and the staff was incredible! We were very pleased with how helpful and warm all the staff were. Included breakfast was small but good. Bed was hard as a rock, as were the pillows. Lift does not go all the way to street level. |

I liked better the fact that by putting some nice wallpaper and bed covers you consider yourself a three star hotel.!!!!!!the only good thing was the staff at reception desk. we paid for a double room but instead we received two beds that couldnt be smaller!!!cable tv services where not functioning, the toilet can be more smaller if the management tries.staff at breakfast was looking at you like they were saying "bugger off".i would definitely stay at near by hotels who has more or less the same price but are real hotels and not pansion!regarding these comments we take into consideration the price we paid! |

The location was fantastic. Close to the train station and next to the Opera House, it was within walking distance to the train (even with luggage!). Tony at the front desk was great to talk to and suggested great restaurants. |

The location was excellent, near the central railway station and buses. Close to the old town sights. It was really hot outside, but air conditioner worked excellent in the hotel rooms. Very clean, every day new big white towels... Rich breakfast buffet, good coffee. Marvelous concert in the church just around the corner. Very helpful staff, all English speaking. Internet connection in the room worked very well. Thanks to Tony, who helped us to find nice restaurant with good food and price nearby. The room was a bit small and sometimes the smell in the room was not nice. |

My husband and I just returned after spending a week in Hotel Lirico. We were absolutely delighted with the hotel. The location is great. Just a few minutes walk from Termini train station and only 15 to 20 minutes walk to all the main attractions. The bus to the Vatican can be picked up on the next street. The hotel is quiet and in a quiet area so ideal for getting a good night's sleep. Some nice restaurants nearby too, especially the Pizzeria on Via Cesare Balbo which was great value for money. The staff at Hotel Lirico were excellent. Tony and the guys at reception were always friendly and obliging. Sadek did a wonderful job cleaning the rooms and Milsa and the staff in the breakfast room were really friendly and efficient. Hotel Lirico provide a very good breakfast with plenty of choice. Our bedroom had air conditioning and it was extremely comfortable with plenty of space and a really comfortable bed. There was also a safe in the room but we didn't use it. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience and would stay at Hotel Lirico if we return to Rome. It is a great base from which to explore Rome. We would highly recommend this hotel. The only little thing I would say I didn't like about Hotel Lirico was that the tables in the breakfast room were very close together so making it slightly difficult to move around if the room was full. This wasn't a major problem however. |

The staff was friendly, they all spoke English. Good shower, beds were fine. The hotel is a bit small, you just fit in the elevator with 3 persons. We were in a room for 3 persons, the third bed was a couch, which we didn't expect. The jokes of one staff member were meant good, but weren't as funny as he thought they were. ;) |

We just returned from a holiday in Italy with stayed in numerous hotels. This hotel can be rated as one of the best in its class. Very close to Termini, shopping, and all other important places. Plenty of restaurants around and mini market too. Hotel rooms are very spacious according to Europian/Italian standards, Also fully re-furbished and very clean and neat. Staff are very customer focused and very helpful/ Special mention to Tony at the reception, In addition you get free Wi-fi to the room. What moe you can ask from a 3 star rated hotel but with 4 star facilities and yet very reasonably priced. (you need to spend at least another 50 euros to the rates to get hotel of this calibire in Rome) We strongly recomend this hotel for any traveller visiting Rome |

The hotel is in a good location for Roma Termini station and the opera if of interest. The hotel is of a very poor quality - more like a two star or less. Our TV didn't work, the wifi connection kept breaking down, the bathroom fittings were broken, the room was very small and the breakfast was pathetic. I really can't recommend this hotel. |

The hotel was very convenient for sightseeing and also close to the Termini and metro stations. The rooms are decorated tastfully with the walls having fabric on them instead of wallpaper. The hotel staff are very friendly and will do anything they can to help you. Our room was on the front, and was quiet and had a view of St Marie Maggorie. The hotel also had air conditioning which proved to be invaluable during the time we were there. |
