On second visit had room on third floor overlooking the Opera, nice breakfast, and staff were very helpful especially the older gentleman who was very helpful with info requested.
Stairs to get to the reception area.
Close to the key attractions in Rome. Good restaurants nearby
Stairs up to reception after a long flight from Australia.
Central to most things.
Elevator to small and could only take two people at a time.there is also about twenty steps to climb before you get to reception .
Hotel is nearby Roma Termini...Coffee is very good!
Our room is very tight and shower room is really narrow. It's kind of hard to move around inside while taking a shower..Well of course, it's Europe! Space is limited..
We stayed three nights at the Lirico and can honestly say that it was a really lovely hotel and we had no complaints about any aspect. It was within walking distance of all the major tourist sights. The room was lovely and completely soundproof. There was no noise either from the street below or the hotel itself and the beds were really comfy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome.Breakfast was very good with a selection of cereals pastries rolls cold meats cheese and eggs.We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Good location, good resturants, close to train station and within walking distance to the Gallery and Duomo great place to stay.
After leaving the cruise ship I became very ill, the hotel organised a doctor and allowed us to stay in the same room until we were ready to leave, they were very helpful to my needs.
Location because it was close to the train station. The breakfast had quite a good selection.
The room (214) was so small we could barley fit in with our 2 cases. Having been to Rome before I was expecting a small room but this was crazy. There was a very big patch of mould in the bathroom and when we asked them to look at it they said there wasn't anything there. If that wasn't bad enough we returned to our room after eating an awful meal at a restaurant recommended by the hotel, (worst meal we'd had in our month in Italy) to the biggest bug we've ever seen scurry across the floor. We asked for another room but was told the hotel was full. The explanation for the bug was this is normal and it happens. We asked if they would help us find another hotel and they said no. The solution was to come up to the room with a broom! Needless to say no sleep that night. Will not be returning to the hotel and because of their indifference to the problems would not recommend it to other travels, especially given the price of the room.
The bathroom was so small I had to push my way into the shower. When I sat on the toilet, I had the room wall and shower wall touching my shoulders.
Stayed for 5 nights. Not disappointed. The staff were Wonderful and the breakfast was far better than I expected. Would certainly recommend it to anyone.
Very welcoming friendly staff. Reception staff offered advice on places to eat etc. Location was brilliant. Our room was clean and cool .
Our room looked out onto a wall it would have been nice to have had one of the rooms with a street view.
Great staff. Good location.
Stairs were tough. Breakfast just ok. Very little lobby sitting.
Great Location Helpful Staff clean room and shower room
The location was excellent. 5 mins walk from Termini station. The staff were all friendly. Rooms clean.
There was only a small lift and to use the stairs to the rooms I had to ask the manager to use his key. As an individual who is afraid of lifts, I found this extremely disappointing that they did not cater for this. This is the first hotel I had ever stayed in that does not offer the choice of stairs also. The rooms are old-fashioned and are in need of decoration.
Lovely friendly little hotel. Close enough to walking distance to all the main attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean. Room small but everything needed and cleaned daily with fresh towels.
Wifi was slow. So realistically very little indeed.
Proximity to train station. Good location. Good breakfast
Rooms very small. Steep Stairs to carry bags up
It had a lift - not always available in older hotels in Europe wifi worked front desk staff were helpful
room was very small cleaning service not up to standard guest next to us smoked in their room - even though it was non smoking - everything smelled
Just a good hotel for this price. location s perfect. 5 min. From Termini and Republica. staff is friendly. rooms are clean. breakfast is simple but good.
Only a elevator when you've reached the hotel. Not a stair to use.
Excellent, fast and easy to use Wi-Fi. The services and staff are of very high quality, with excellent multi-lingual speaking skills. Despite the small size of the hotel, it makes for a homely and cozy ambience. Good air conditioning. Staff is able to easily provide special services. I required some perishable foods to be conserved and they were able to help me.
The breakfast did not have much variety. No mini-bar in rooms.
Breakfast nga price.
Stairs and view from room's window.
Good location,excelent staff thanks
good staff, good breakfast.
Not much space at the breakfeast and very poor Wi-Fi.
Friendly and helpful staff, close to all attractions, close to restaurants and transportation, supermarket across road.
No bar refrigerator.
Location - 5 minutes walk to the main station Good night's sleep Helpful staff
Small breakfast room
