The location was fantastic,5 minutes from Rome Termini. The reception staff were friendly and polite, rooms were clean and comfortable.Great value for money.
The breakfast staff seemed to be irritated by us and were not as welcoming as the reception staff. The lack of tea and coffee makers in the room was a big let down but, perhaps, this is standard in Italy.
Good location, big comfortable rooms and helpful staff. Good breakfast as well.
Very good localization, great view to the opera house, nice design of the rooms; decent breakfast.
The floor has not been cleaned during 4 days; uncomfortable beds.
Great location, within 5 minutes walk of main train station and 10 minutes to Colosseum. Warm comfortable rooms, plentiful choice for breakfast. Decorated in Italian style rather than bland multinational hotel.
Wi fi Location some how
Impolite staff, specially reception. No elevator for over 20 stair. Very small rooms in a very tight corridors. Dirty rooms. Bad smell. Every thing awful. You may hate Rome by staying at this hotel. I Don't know why they gave it 8 point??!?!?!
Beautiful room. Great breakfast. Very helpful staff. Good location.
Last night the wifi did not work and the staff insisted it was working.
All was excellent, near metro, termini trains. Clean room and cosy.
Good location, Sky, & WiFi
The bed was too hard for me personally. The room was quite small (although sufficient for my needs)
breakfast staff location Wi-Fi perfect
small room little bit mess, nearby
We were disappointed as they made a big deal of saying the walls are soundproof but they definitely weren't. We could hear people in other rooms. There was also construction going on in the building which would start at 8am every morning.
Reasonably-priced, friendly staff and excellent location, near to Termini railway station and 15-minutes walk from the Colosseum, Palatine and the Trevi fountain. The breakfast (continental) is very good with lots of choice. Free wi-fi is available throughout the hotel and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
staff was very friendly and helpful Close to Termini station Quiet area Good choice of restaurants Good breakfast
shower entrance was rather narrow, difficult to enter, doors derailed
Easy walking distance to all attractions. Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. Rooms were kept clean and fresh. Value for money was great
No air conditioning in my room 304
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Close to different interesting places. quiet hotel in city center
water pressure is very weak no wifi in dinning room
Location is great not far from Termini, close to Republica metro and main bus routes on Via Nazionale Very comfortable and staff are awesome, Tony is a lovely man and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
No elevator to reception but staff can help :-) WiFi was a bit up and down but I was tired by the time I got back at night it didn't really bother me :-)
Small/standard European hotel rooms.
Location. Close by Termini.
Have to walk up a stair with luggage to reach the reception! Room is too small.
On second visit had room on third floor overlooking the Opera, nice breakfast, and staff were very helpful especially the older gentleman who was very helpful with info requested.
Stairs to get to the reception area.
Close to the key attractions in Rome. Good restaurants nearby
Stairs up to reception after a long flight from Australia.
Central to most things.
Elevator to small and could only take two people at a time.there is also about twenty steps to climb before you get to reception .
Hotel is nearby Roma Termini...Coffee is very good!
Our room is very tight and shower room is really narrow. It's kind of hard to move around inside while taking a shower..Well of course, it's Europe! Space is limited..
We stayed three nights at the Lirico and can honestly say that it was a really lovely hotel and we had no complaints about any aspect. It was within walking distance of all the major tourist sights. The room was lovely and completely soundproof. There was no noise either from the street below or the hotel itself and the beds were really comfy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome.Breakfast was very good with a selection of cereals pastries rolls cold meats cheese and eggs.We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Good location, good resturants, close to train station and within walking distance to the Gallery and Duomo great place to stay.
After leaving the cruise ship I became very ill, the hotel organised a doctor and allowed us to stay in the same room until we were ready to leave, they were very helpful to my needs.
Location because it was close to the train station. The breakfast had quite a good selection.
The room (214) was so small we could barley fit in with our 2 cases. Having been to Rome before I was expecting a small room but this was crazy. There was a very big patch of mould in the bathroom and when we asked them to look at it they said there wasn't anything there. If that wasn't bad enough we returned to our room after eating an awful meal at a restaurant recommended by the hotel, (worst meal we'd had in our month in Italy) to the biggest bug we've ever seen scurry across the floor. We asked for another room but was told the hotel was full. The explanation for the bug was this is normal and it happens. We asked if they would help us find another hotel and they said no. The solution was to come up to the room with a broom! Needless to say no sleep that night. Will not be returning to the hotel and because of their indifference to the problems would not recommend it to other travels, especially given the price of the room.
