Nice breakfast, Good facilities. Hard to find it for first time, very small front gate. Hotel staff should be more helpful. |

Very nice location, comfortable and nice hotel. Well, in the morning we woke up and found out that Venice and the hotel were a bit under water - but the staff was great and we had no problems. They helped us to get boots etc. Interesting new experience for us. :) |

The hotel is very close to the train station and very easy to find. It's open 24 hours and the staff was very nice. The room was simple but comfy,we had our own bathroom that had everything you need including shower gel and hairdryer. The breakfast was simple and the same everyday but that wasn't a problem because everything was very fresh including the home made croissants witch wore divine. The rooms have color tv but the tv is very small and very high situated, over the dresser and that was a little anoying. The internet didin't worked for us even if we wore in one of the firsts rooms. That was a high minus for a young traveler.I must say that on the reception side it works there is no table for you to sit. Better internet connection!! |

Hotel was clean, room simple and clean, bathroom nice, breakfast good enough. Big benefit is location which is about 5mins from City parking and railway station and as well very close to centre of the city. Generally I can recommend it very much! Noise level is little bit higher in case of thin walls. |

It was a really nice stay: good location, kind staff and most important, it was clean! We really enjoyed the stay and recommend it. If we will return to Venice, this hotel is on top of our list! |

The room was very clean and was basic, but nicely decorated. The hotel staff was friendly and helpfull, and speak English well. Alltough we had the smallest room of the floor, we found the room providing enough space for us. The location is nice and quiet, and very conveniently close to Piazzale Roma (3 minutes walk!), and easy to find. Which is great when you arrive late, or want to leave your luggage at the hotel for the last day. The value for money is good (even compared to hotels outside Venezia!). Breakfast is good, but do not expect large quantities, or bacon and eggs, because it is an Italian breakfast. One disadvantage, that does not particularily apply to Hotel Locanda Salieri (see below), is that you are at the mercy of the consideration of other hotel guests, if it comes down to keeping the noise down. Maybe the hotel staff should point out to the hotel guests that e.g. walking around with your shoes on might disturb the guests below. (Note that poor sound isolation is a common complaint for Venetian Hotels, because they are obviously old houses, and also note that Hotel Locanda Salieri may have one of the better sound isolation comparing to other Venetian Hotels!) |

They upgraded us to Hotel Locanda Art Deco and it was a loft which meant lugging our 50 lb suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. In my opinion the staff was extremely rude when it came to questions about check out and transportation. |

the hotel was extremely clean and a simple comfortable room. We had a room over the canal which was a superb view. the breakfast was in the restaurant next door and was simple but very adequate and fresh. Although it was not a problem for us being very fit early sixties the three flights of stairs with luggage may be for some. |

Location was good, on a canal, right in the city center near the train station. I think you could find a bit cheaper room of the same calibur. |

With respect to internet connections: There is only WiFi available, which only really works on the ground floor --- the connection in the rooms is very bad or nil. |

We had a view ovrlooking a canal. The hotel is located in the Academia Area of Venice but is far enough from the Universities that it is very quiet at night. The location is perfect for arrival and departure. A short walk to the bus and vaparatto stations. It also let's you enjoy parts of Venice that are away from the crowds of Saint Mark's and Realto . We had our own in suite bath. Overall we had a very good experience here. The room wasn't air conditioned. It was a little uncomfortable when it got humid. This was the only down side to the hotel. Compared to the plusses, it isn't much. |

Everything was good. Rooms are small but clean and very comfy. Hotel is situated next to charming canal and close to the train and bus stations. Breakfast wasn't big but everything fresh and tasty. We would recommend that place to anyone including friends. |
