Hotel Londra - Firenze -  

το γεγονός ότι ήταν κοντά στο κέντρο της πόλης και ότι το δωμάτιο ήταν ευρύχωρο και είχε πολύ ωραίο μπάνιο.

δεν μου άρεσε ότι ήταν φτωχά επιπλωμένο, κυρίως ότι δεν είχε κλεισ΄τές ντουλάπες.

Ελλείψεις σε λεπτομέρειες που κάνουν τη διαφορά όπως: εξαερισμός δωματίου, τα κρεβάτια (δύο ενωμένα όχι διπλό) δεν πατούσαν καλά στο πάτωμα με αποτέλεσμα να χτυπάνε κάτω στην παραμικρή κίνηση, το ντους έσταζε στο μπάνιο κάποιες φορές.

Professional staff that conducted the business of the hotel courteously and efficiently. All questions answered and most needs anticipated. Hotel services included complimentary WiFi that was easy to connect and was at a good speed. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of food types, hot and cold. This was our second stay at this hotel.

Front desk Staff was friendly and helpful, room was very clean and tidy. Excellent and safe location, just 2minutes from the main Florence station. Most of the sight seeing places are on walking distance of approximately 25 mins. As it is near the main station easy access to other public transport from the station. Overall it's a good hotel.

Everything was fine just there are some steps to get access to the room which was bit difficult with the luggage but staff was friendly and always offered help.

We arrived at 9am and just wanted to leave our luggage but they allowed us th check in early. The reception staff were really helpful.The room was spaceous big bathroom comfortable bed.The hotel is convenient to all transport.

The location was wonderful as it was so close to Stazione Santa Maria Novella, and so easy to walk to. There was a lift making it easy to access our room. The breakfast was extremely generous. We loved having an electric jug in our room for a cup of tea or coffee whenever we chose, and a refrigerator. The staff were friendly, co-operative and obliging, and spoke English which was helpful to us. The reception staff were helpful in booking some museums.

We could not understand why a jug would be provided, and no tea bags or coffee sachets or milk would be provided by the housekeeping services. If you did not think to take some teabags and decaffinated (all on offer) coffee sachets from the breakfast room there seemed no point in the availability of the jug in the room. Although uht milk sachets could be obtained from the bar, it did seem to be a bother to them. There was also no replenishment of used shower gel, shampoo and skin moisturiser.

The service at the bar area was slow and a little bit unfriendly

The hotel was very good. Big rooms, completely renovated, well designed, well furnished, rooms. Good breakfast. Great location near the central station in Florence.

Some noises from the tramva which have line in front of the city

Good facilities and comfortable. Convenient location and breakfast was good.

It was a bit inconvenient that we don't have wifi in our room, only cable connection.

comfort of the room (superior room type), spaciousness of common areas (lobby, garden, breakfast room), nice breakfast, possibility to use hotel garage (at reasonable price vs public garages), helpfulness of the reception staff...

Few observations, not serious dislikes (would stay again!): location - environment of the railway station not very pleasant, a bit far away (15-20 minutes walking) from main attractions...but second and third day of our stay we discovered nicer & faster routes...

The hotel is located almost in the middle of the city, and yet the street is calm.

Rooms are not isolated, so you here every sound in the room next to yours.

Nice hotel. Nice attention and staff

It is very clean and fresh and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, very pleasant and responsive. I liked that there were single rooms priced accordingly, the single rooms were small but with good sized beds and fine for one person, better for us to have two single rooms than one double - I really appreciated this and it was a major reason for booking. Even the single rooms had bathtubs. Good linens and towels. I really liked that the rooms had private terraces and that the door/window could be opened, this was very good as too many hotels do not have windows that can be opened. Free internet service is a must for me when travelling and each room offered this. I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely reccommend the hotel.

Upon arrival the room temperature was set at 30c! I turned the heat off for my 2 night stay. The hotel common areas were too hot which surprised me. I didn't use the sauna but did check it out and found it was a little unappealing, this was not a major issue for me as I probably wouldn't have time anyway but felt those who wished this feature would be disappointed.
