Small and friendly, Lussemburgo is a family-run hotel centrally located in the developing Esquilino neighbourhood, scattered in restaurants, clubs and shops, close to Termini Railway Station and Manzoni Metro station. Enjoy having easy access to the historic city centre and to all the main venues, including the world famous Coliseum. The family who runs the hotel are very friendly and do their best can to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. A rich breakfast is served everyday in the charming breakfast room. Hotel Rooms: 9

The air condition room and the receptionist was friendly although he needs to learn some english. The hotel is far from the Termini train station ,there is no elevator we had to climb stairs with our luggage to the 5th floor, the breakfast is terrible, the bathroom can win the prize for the smallest in the world, the hotel location is not good and the receptionist cannot speak any english he was of no help. I will not recommend to anyone.

Although not in the nicest area of Rome, we easily walked to the Coleseum in about 15 minutes and the Metro is also very close. The rooms were clean and the owners very sweet although spoke basically no English. It was way overpriced for what we paid for it. Bathroom was tiny, but clean.

You should think about very poor hotel even they haven't a kattle in the room. I stayed this hotel 4 night. I expecting about lovely breakfast when I read a comment in this website. but The Breakfast was almost strong bread and burning coffee. Also they have a wifi but I couldn't use an internet because According to tell of staff that our room was hight floor. That's all...I Dissapointed that! I won't go to there Really!

The stuff was great and helpful, location quite good - close to Termini, city centre, metro stop, cheap supermarket, but it's Asian disctrict. Although it's safe, because reception works 24 hours and you can get inside only when they unlock the door from reception. The breakfast were better than usual - not only croisant, but also some sweets, cake, etc. We found really clean room which was cleaned every day during our stay. I really reccomend it for young couples, because you pay really not a lot and you can get your privacy.

It was around 15 minute walking distance from collosseum and good proximity to metro. It is good as a budget accomodation. One main disadvantage was that the owners of the hotel knew only Italian and it was difficult to convey or understand. Bathroom was very small and breakfast was just basic to start of the day. For a couple, I would recommend some other place. It is just adequate for a single person to spend a night or two.

The warm family atmosphere was just fantastic. Its proximity to the city sights is excellent. Its just a short walk to the underground. There is plenty to see even quite close to the hotel and the Colloseum is just a 15 minute walk.

The warm service of the family that runs the hotel. The walls are very thin, so if you have noisy neighbours you can really here everything.

It is very close to the city's central station - Termini. The room we stayed in was very clean and the basic stuff like sheets, towels & toilet tissue were of good quality. The old lovely couple that runs the hotel were very friendly and were always ready to help us with information on how to get around town even though they don't understand english. The breakfast was good and we ate to our satisfaction. Checkout was easy! We were checked into a smaller room with double beds on our arrival but was changed to the actual room we booked and paid for the next day. No hassles!

You just can't beat the welcome and friendliness of the owners. For a budget option in Rome, this is the place to go. The location is great, a bit off the beaten track so it's quiet but an easy 5 minute walk to restaurants and sights (15 mins to the Colosseum or Forum area). There is also the Metro and buses 2 blocks away, Termini station 5 blocks away and the tram 1 block away. Breakfast was plentiful and we were always offered more of everything (including meat and cheese). Minimal soundproofing of rooms but then I doubt there's any hotel in this category that would be better. The hotel is on a quiet street and with only 9 rooms there's minimal coming and going of other guests, so it wasn't anything we couldn't live with. If you're sensitive to noise, a pair of ear plugs is all you need (a good idea in any hotel).

Very friendly environment, family business, clean room, you can easily reach sights of the city even on foot sometimes. Good price also. Near to an excellent gelateria. Good location of the hotel for sightseeing, but also not very good neighbourhood after 10 a.m.

Great location, 10 min walking to Termini Station (from there, you can go to anywhere by several diferent ways of transport), 15 min walking to Colosseu and the historic ancient Rome. The staff is a very simpatic couple of two old persons. They are always ready to help and to try to give you any information that you need, but they don't speak english, so you should be pacient about it.

The staff were really friendly. The rooms were cleaned daily. The rooms were basic but then again it is a 2 star hotel. However, we had hot water and a decent shower and there was aslo a TV in our room. I would recommend this hotel if you are on a buget. I was very happy to stay there and I would stay there again. There isn't really anything I disliked. It's a 2 star hotel and so you can't expect absolute luxury.

Stanze e bagno molto piccole, scomode e arredate in maniera molto vecchia e scadente

“Perfect location near the metro in the centre of Rome. Staff are very friendly and helpful, they booked for us all the tickets we wanted and we collected them from the reception as soon as we checked in. Our room was spacious and very clean with tv and free wifi. Breakfast in bed was great. We would definately recomend this small, clean and quiet hotel and we will be returning soon for sure :-)” Ivan, Birkirkara |
