Hotel Piemontese is on a quiet road in central Turin, between the Valentino park and Porta Nuova Train Station. Rooms offer free wired internet. The Egyptian Museum is a 15 minute walk away.
Score from 540 reviews Very good
Hotel Gran Mogol is just 215 yards from Torino Porta Nuova Train and Metro Station, and a 15-minute walk from a 15th-century Cathedral that is home to the famous Shroud of Turin.
Score from 1473 reviews Very good
Run by the same family since 1854, Hotel Roma e Rocca Cavour is one of the oldest hotels in Turin. Surrounded by lush gardens, it is across from to Porta Nuova Train Station.
Score from 1292 reviews Very good
Hotel Concord is 300 ft from Porta Nuova, and a short walk from the pedestrian shopping district in Turin.
Score from 797 reviews Very good
The location is excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful
The hotel looks rather old
The hotel is overall very good. The staff is excellent ,rooms are clean and breakfast is plentiful and good.It takes you 15 mins to get to city center,it was a great stay won't hesitate to recommend.
The room was to hot and could not be cooled.
Good location near Porta Nuova station (don't do what we did and fail to realise that there are two stations in Turin - maps are not clear on this). We arrived at Porta Susa and took a taxi to this hotel (around 10 euros). Only two metro stops between the two stations. Breakfast was excellent and rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Reception staff could be a bit more congenial. Helpful but somewhat distracted by their admin. work.
Room with balcony & spacious shower room. Quite clean. Good wifi. Electric kettle available. Receptionist recommended good choice of restaurant near the hotel.
The mattress was in very poor condition. It was dented in the middle and my sleep was very uncomfortable. The sound-proofing was unacceptable. I could hear clearly the TV noise next door and needed to call the receptionist to ask clients next room to tune down the volume. A bit disappointed that the receptionist at first asked me to do so myself, but he had helped later after I insisted. The breakfast was another disappointment: no boiled egg and whole wheat bread, though several choices of croissant available but of poor quality. The breakfast standard was far below that I had in other hotels of the Best Western group before.
The staff were superb. Couldn't have been more helpful with advice, help and suggestions. Comfortable beds. Generous balcony. The breakfast, for a 'continental' buffet type, was very good with a range of choices. They even did scrambled eggs and an Italian sausage as a 'hot' option.
The room was a little small and the bathroom, (with a whirlpool bath and shower over), was in need of refurbishment. The back rooms like ours overlook a 'grass roof' so the balcony would only serve to cool down in the evening rather that sit out.
Personnel was very friendly. We lost our bag in the Shuttle Bus, the personnel was very helpfull and we managed to find our bag very soon, thank to the hotel personnel. Close to the town center. Very close to the Airport Shuttle.
People in the reception desk were really rude. When it was time for check out they could not understand in English that our bank informed us that our credit card was already charged. It took us one hour to find a solution. Never smiled never helped.
The hotel's downtown location and proximity to the train station worked for us. The room was spacious (the bath & shower too) lots of windows (operable) nicely designed w/refrig & coffee maker, a nice convenience. The breakfast selection was good and plenty. The staff was helpful and attentive.
Location very close to the station and within 10 walking minutes in the heart of the city centre.
The hotel is just next to train station.Close to city centre.
Expensive and old
Friendliness of staff
A few seats in the entrance hall would be useful if one is waiting for other visitors to complete their business
Hotel has all the basic amenities. Very good, comfortable & clean with excellent & powerful shower. Good breakfast with varied choice. Very well priced. We were a Group of 13 Adults - no complaints whatsoever, all were very satisfied. Staff at reception all very helpful.
A 20 minute walk to the main piazzas in Turin but no big deal. The foyer, a bit small.
We were a group of 13 adults spending 3 nights in Turin. No complaints about this Hotel from anyone. Well equipped, clean & a good breakfast. Courteous staff. Well priced.
15/20 minutes walk to the Centre.
Positioned very close to train station. Connection to the center of the city is very easy by bus or tram. At the same, if you prefer to walk, it could take only about 15 minutes to get to the center.
It could be little bit noisy during a day, if windows are facing the street. Breakfast provides a big choice of not very good food. For the same money it is possible to get much better food in the corner bar.
A comfortable room, comfortable bed and bathroom. BBC News TV.
The breakfast was horrible. The egg and sausage too disgusting to eat. No sugar free muesli. The juice was not pure but some strange mix.
The room was decently priced, clean and very spacious. Located a couple of blocks from main train station (porta nuova). Torino is small so everything is reachable walking.
I tripped over the small front step at the entrance for which should not have been there. On leaving the hotel my husband who needs a walking stick took hold of a handrail on the stairs for support, only to nearly fall down the steps because the workman in reception had only placed it in situ without any securing it to the wall. no signs of working in progress was displayed. Breakfast was also not up to the BW standard.
Our room on the top floor was quiet with a wonderful balcony. The location for the railway station was excellent, the staff were very helpful and the buffet breakfast was plentiful.
7th floor rear room, with balcony and good views, quiet situation. Impressed with the Staff on reception, very helpful with info, etc etc.
Service minded staff.
Uncomfortable bed, breakfast choice.
The position was central.
The price was very high for what they offered. The breakfast was poor. It does not deserve 4 stars.
The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgable about the local area. The room was very comfortable and the A/C worked perfectly!
The Wi-Fi connection was non existent in our room. Breakfast was quite pricey per person.
Our triple room is located at the top floor with a large balcony and great views. Breakfast is good.
Each time only one tenant can login the wifi in a bed room.
I needed a hotel close to train station for an early morning departure. I was very surprised as it was not expensive but was excellent value for money. I would highly recommend and in fact when I return to Turin to explore on my own leisure time, I will stay there again !
Everything was great, if I have to come up with some small thing - my door lock was difficult!
For a budget place this hotel is excellent.
