Nice location, quite close to the train station Breakfast was very nice for a continental style meal Large step-up window with view of a Firenze side street below. Wi-Fi was strong, but only in our room (didn't work in the breakfast room)

I wish they would provide an extra pillow, I needed one and I had to improvise with my husband's t-shirt covering a folded blanket

It's noisy in the rooms facing Via Nationale. Hotel pre-authorized card, took 67 Euro, these money did'n come back yet ...

Very nice touch of a welcome fruit basket- really appreciated on arrival. Also another excellent present we received on the third day of our stay- a complimentary bottle of excellent Chianti which my husband and I drank sitting on the hotel's balcony and looking over Florence rooftops, the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio. The location of the hotel is also very convenient- near the main train station but also near all the Florence's attractions; everywhere easily accessible on foot. We had a fantastic stay.

The hotel is close to the railway station and 15 minutes from the main tourist attractions. Clean, beautiful interior design medieval. The friendly staff. Because we stayed several nights (4) in this hotel we had two surprises from them- one evening we found a fruit basket in the room and another evening a bottle of wine.

1.As an elderly person I did not like the steps up to the bathroom and were dangerous at night as the steps were all black. 2.Only luke warm water. 3.Breakfast not very suitable for a diabetic.

Very basic for the price we paid and the wifi didn't work in our room (as advertised).

Only that it was close to the train station so I could make a quick exit.

Where do I start? They accessed my credit card by placing a charge on it 4 days before I arrived just in case I did not turn up. This was despite the cancellation policy of Booking.com. The place was difficult to find. The room yuk and noisy. The bathroom was only big enough for half a person and had a very bad smell coming from the drains. The breakfast was ok but very basic compared to other European places I stayed. One parting comment to any readers for this place and others - Don't always believe the elaborate photo's that are posted on the sites because they are not true.

The location is fantastic, literally 200m from the train station, Via Nasionale is a great street, so central to all the wonderful attractions. My room was large, I stayed on the 5th floor and I had my own private terrace which overlooked the city. 5 min walk to Duomo, 10 min walk from there to Ponte Vecchio, continental breakfast which was excellent and very adequate. Friendly, helpful staff. Received a complimentary tray of fruit on arrival and a couple of days later I received a chilled bottle of wine. Wonderful stay and I will definitely go back .

The location is perfect, rooms were nice and the breakfast has good standards. If I am back in Florence I will stay there again.

Staff was very friendly. The hotel provided complementary fruits and wine, which was a pleasant surprise. Location is good, in historical center but close to the railway station. Quite good breakfast.
