Hotel Martelli is housed in an elegant, historic building which once belonged to Florentine nobles. Both the cathedral and Firenze Santa Maria Novella Train Station are 650 ft away. The staff at provide friendly, 24-hour service. There are internet terminals in the lobby. Rooms have a satellite TV and a minibar. Some feature elegant furniture and frescoed ceilings. Nice old character The management style was very mean and unhelpful. I got the impression they got a lot of complaints. 1 guest we saw was outraged. They wanted 16 Euros for wifi. Their tax charge was excluded from the room rate you had to pay separately. It just seemed like a hidden extra.

Location was relative advantage but it was only good point. Except the location I think other aspects are all poor. The staffs are not so friendly even in the morning time reception staffs. The facilities , especially room tv was not comfortable to use. General point of view, not recommendable to my friends.

Location is great. Wonderful staff. Audreanna is a treat.Good value for the price. There is a wide range in the comfort of the rooms. Some are very noisy. That said; I have stayed there before and will definately stay again.

Hotel martelli was a big home for a well known family in 15th century and still the home and the paintings reserved since that time so no sound insulation but it was really different experience sleeping in room with wall paintings all around There are no services at all in the room, the breakfast is very poooor, the butler was very very rude and the breakfast room reminded me as we are in hostels or schools

Exceto a localizacao, nao gostei de nada. Ao chegar, nao tinha funcionario para levar as malas ao quarto. Cafe da manha e pessimo, com paes velhos e cafe ruim. Nao tem internet (nem mesmo paga) nos quartos e a internet disponivel apenas nas areas comum a 16 euros e muito cara. As instalacoes sao ruins e precisam passar urgentemente por uma reforma. Em pleno inverno europeu, o primeiro quarto em que fui instalado nao tinha nem aquecimento. No segundo quarto, apos reclamacao, os metais estavam todos enferrujados.

Ottima la posizione.. Per chi viaggia in treno è consigliabile.. 300 metri dalla stazione , tutto dritto, impossibile sbagliare.. Camera piccola ma carina, ben accessoriata, ottima per chi sta poco tempo.. Buona e abbondante la colazione.. Neo la wifi a pagamento, bagno molto piccolo, tivu in camera un pò vecchia..

Hotel in ottima posizione per la visita della città, pulito. La prima stanza era affrescata ma con bagno cieco e microscopico, mobili antichi e odore di vecchio. Ma devo dire che si sono subito offerti di cambiarmela in una meno romantica ma con grande bagno. Televisori datati e con schermi talemente piccoli che per guardarli dal letto sarebbe stato utile un binocolo.

La tranquillità nonostante la posizione centrale. L'aspetto architettonico e gli arredi molto apprezzabili. La camera presenta infrastrutture fatiscenti soprattutto nel bagno: piccolo per dimensioni, con rubinetterie e scarichi poco funzionanti. La colazione molto carente come qualità e quantità di proposte.

Senz'altro la buona posizione e il personale disponibile e gentile e per questo consigliato. Le infrastrutture dovrebbero essere ristrutturate un po e avere un maggior occhio di riguardo per quanto riguarda I locali dei servizi igenici e per questo non lo consiglierei.
