I liked everything about the hotel, perfect location, good, ready to help staff, clean and comfortable rooms,

During my stay I didn't like the attitude of the staff at the kitchen during the breakfast. the lady was always upset, doing her job as a favour to the guests, not smiling, not polite, always complaining of having to clean the tables.

Will be great if you can adjust your convention with the parking to reduce the price.

    the location

To have to pay 16€ for 24h of wifi. I think with the money you pay for a normal service, the minimum is to include a free wifi

The people at the front desk were very nice and very accomodating , more then the hotel itself.

I didn't like that I had to several , then more stairs, then take the elevator to get to my room. Sometimes I had to route my way back to the room. Then there was no wifi service and they wanted you to pay for it. I fine that the quality of food was not as good as nearby hotels.

Me and my partner travelled here and stayed for 3 nights and found it fantastic. We got off the bus from Pisa airport and using our map app we found it was only a 5 minute walk from Santa Maria train station. It was easy enough to communicate to the staff throughout our stay and even got given brochures on recommended tours. We found the location to be perfect as we were only a two minute walk to the Duomo and 15 minutes from the Ponte Vecchio (which gives you a good estimation for it's location). Breakfast included in the booking is recommended as it was buffet style and the meats were delicious as well as the pastry. Along with a choice of espresso, orange juice or pineapple juice. Hotel room was clean and comfortable and was not noisy during the night. Would definitely stay at this hotel again and will be recommending it to friends and family!

Location was fantastic for a short visit to see the main sights and soak up the atmosphere. Less than five minutes from the train station and staff was very welcoming and helpful.

The hotel location is perfect. This was our second visit to the hotel. On both occasions the accommodation was very spacious and most comfortable. The buffet breakfast is good and plentiful and served in a rather splendid dining room. The hotel is a bit of a maze with various floors but has a certain romance. All in all good value in the centre of Florence.

I loved the location of this hotel as well as the interior. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast buffet could be improved, especially the coffee.

The location in the centre of the city. The old building of the 16th century, a beautiful interior. Breakfast is varied. The room is a clean and quiet.

    Location Breakfast

Asking €16 for Wi-Fi is ridiculous. Uncomfortable beds.

We had a lovely rooftop view from our balcony. It was well situated near the railway station too, location was key for us.

It was strange to have to hand the key in at reception every time you left the building and the hairdryer was shocking.

The location is perfect. The room was clean and quiet on an interior court yard. Old world charm throughout the hotel. The breakfast buffet was ver nice.

The small sign for the hotel. Glad I had my GPS or I might have missed it.

The only one advantage - its location.

Very bad service - poor breakfast, very-very noisy from the 5 a.m. (outside from the window and inside behind the door), indifferent and inattentive staff. I'd never seen the hotel where the cleaning was so early and so noisy just near our door! The bed headboard was in 0.5 m from an entrance to a bathroom.

location, 5 min to Doumo, 15 min to other side of Ponte DVeccio, walk to trains good reception staff, local knowledge-pointed us to very good local, moderate price restuarants fresco painted rooms very "old worldy", lots of shutters etc block out street noise (you are on the main (albeit small) through road to Doumo

plumbing: low pressure water, bathroom needed update, hot water takes 15min run to come hot

The location was great, staff was friendly and helpful. The room was big and beautifully decorated.

Only downside- AC did not work well and there was a great deal of busy street traffic noise (early in the morning). Bed was typical, but pillows were very flat.

Although we paid to upgrade from classic double room to superior double room (25m), the toilet and bathroom was very narrow and small.

    Location was very central

Whilst there was a door & small terrace area, it was warm at night & it was awkward to leave the door open
