Bed was pretty firm - and so was the pillow, and I am someone who likes a firm bed. Room was small.
I needed to stay the night near the station for an early departure and this hotel was a 5 minute walk away. The room was very clean and bathroom worked fine. Staff were pleasant enough. If you need to be near the station - this is perfect.
The lift wasn't working when I arrived so I had to haul my case up three flights. And had I been a large person I might not have been able to fit in the shower. Neither point worried me too much.
Very handy for the railway station, quiet for a good night's sleep, and a relatively short walk into the centre. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Tasty breakfast too.
Location is very convenient: 5 minutes by foot from the central station and 15 minutes by foot from the historical part of Verona. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good.
It was good to have a shuttle service but bad of them not to tell us that there was no return service on the last day of the fair. I waited half an hour for this in the rain. Location a bit out of the way - had to take taxis everywhere because of heavy traffic unsuitable for walking. Breakfasts were poor.
Comfortable bed, nice size room, well heated (even too well heated) shuttle service to VinItaly but (see next box)
Free wi-fi not provived upon arrival, we asked for but thay had no kettle to provide, do not take american express,
Third time in the hotel (4th floor room, this time much more spacious). Breakfast is OK and everything else is a same as ever.
We have room on the 1st floor - smaller than usual (but with better bed though). Some renovation would be nice. And for sight-seeing it is a bit distant from the city centre (about 20 min walk).
I was in this hotel 3 times, this was second one. Good modern hotel very close to the central train station (5 min walk). Excellent Wi-Fi (free now). Recommended for light-foot travellers.
Everything is perfect. I can`t find anything wrong or any reason to complain. Half way to the city center and the show ground. Walking distance to the central railway station. You can walk even to the city center if weather permits.
Location, unfriendly, unhelpful staff, room was basic and outdated, no stair access so had to wait very long time for elevator which had gliches
Breakfast was good
location, shower, cleaness, environment, wifi, breakfast
The last 5 minutes of the 20 minute walk from town back to the Martini at night is a bit dodgy and dark. Could be a security problem. Otherwise the Martini was good.
Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of sweet and savory and healthy. Staff was helpful. Close to the train station. Happy to report that other peoples problem with having to Like on Facebook in order to get wifi has ended. No password even required. Front desk person told me they had a contract with their provider that has ended.
Old, noisy, difficult to find.
Near railway station
For breakfast, there is no porridge.
Location (close to the station and the historic center), the quality of cleaning, friendly staff.
price, excellent breakfast, friendly helpful staff, comfortable clean room. free shuttle bus to partner hotel with restaurant
The best breakfast in the whole two months in Italy
Nothing except wifi a little slow and inconsistent, but no drama
Location is good. Close to station and walking distance to old city Staff helpful Fridge in room Free bus took us to restaurant for dinner Breakfast was great
The room are too small to the price. Small room, only available for a double-bed. The wifi need to be connected to facebook or gmail, that is ridiculous. And the worst of all, is that the mirror is right face to the bed. Terrible!
The location is quite fine, you can walk to the train station within 10 minutes. The building itself are quite beautiful, and the bathroom I like a lot. Toiletries are also prepared, considering that this is just a 3 star hotel, and it is in European.
No restaurant was disapointing as time was at a premium
A bit far away from the main city centre (like a 20 mins walk).
Clean room, close to train station and next to fresh flowing River water.
Noise can be heard from other rooms.
This is best location in Verona for traveller by train. Good breakfast value for money.
It's ok for its price. Not far from the train station- 5min on foot and there are some signs on the way. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is tasty. If you're lookig for smth not expensive and close to the trainstation- that's it. To the city center you need about 12 min also on foot.
For me it is better to pay less and have less luxury. Why should it be the top of the world while the whole day you are outside. For me a hotel is to sleep and shower and has to be clean. This was very okay. I would come for a next time.
