Dating back to 1875, this centrally located 4-star hotel blends an antique style and architecture with a host of modern amenities.

Built on 5 floors, one dedicated to non-smokers, its 185 rooms are all tastefully decorated in a traditional style and its lobby, bar and restaurant hold an important collection of paintings and prints giving testimony to its history.

First-time visitors to Rome can enjoy the hotel’s proximity to tourist attractions, such as St. Mary the Major Basilic, the Colosseum, St. Paul and Via Veneto, all of which are within walking distance. Moreover, bus stops, the train station and the underground are all close to the hotel.

In the evenings, it is possible to enjoy a meal at the hotel’s noteworthy restaurant, accompanied by wines from the antique cellar located under the hotel.

Yes. Centrally placed. When I rang up to say I'd be arriving late in the evening the person who replied was very pleasant.The choice at brseakfastd was excellent.

the location is good (closed to train station and metro station) and the hotel is not too small. There is a corridor and an extra door to divide the bedroom and toilet to the front door, so it can isolate the noise from outside that I like it.

The room was quite good, the stuff was friendly, and the location of the hotel near to the train station was wonderful.

The beds was separate and moving away from each other, and the breakfast wasn't wonderful.

Can't think of anything.

Old room furniture, quality of bathroom (water was spilling over the bathtub when showering and did not flow down by itself - had to be mopped up). Noisy rooms lacking sound isolation - I could hear load conversations on the corridor. Hotel leaves a bad first impression (old and unmaintained). Breakfast was reasonable (espresso coffee terrible though).

2 adjacent rooms provided for a triple room .

Hot and cold water was continiously changing during shower.(1 day only)

The hotel is comfortable. 20 min walk from Colesseum & Forum, 5 min walk from Termini railway staition.

Centrally located

I was charged extra £75 for channging the dates of reservation. That is unacceptable. I had to agree because I have to attend The EAEG conference . No complimentary drinking mineral water.
