The hotel is in a perfect location to walk to all of the sites in Verona. It is also only about 10 minutes easy walk from the train station. The staff were all helpful and spoke good English. The room was very well appointed and comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic and recently updated. The supplied breakfast was quite adequate though it did run out, so don't be late. The front desk staff were very efficient, but not very friendly. This may be because we didn't speak Italian and this seems to be quite common in Italy. This hotel charges for Internet access. 2€ for one hour. This is ridiculous, especially considering the price of the hotel. This should be included in the cost of the room. The town of Verona provides free WiFi access in Piazza Bra (2 minutes walk up the road from the hotel) and Piazza Cittadella (across the road from the hotel) and various other locations. Visit the biblioteca (library) on via Cappello - just up from Piazza Erbe to get a user name and password to access the network. You will need to take your passport.

This was one of the highlights for the family on our trip. We had one of apartments, which is away from the main hotel. After a golf buggy ride that the kids certainly loved, we found what was a great family apartment, with good sized rooms and a kitchenette cupboard that I'm sure my wife wanted to put into our suitcase and take home (despite it being of a huge size!). Location was perfect. Right near Castelvecchio, alongside the Adige River, on the other side of the Arsenale. Walks up and down the beautiful streets of Verona were 1 minute away. The parking provided by the Hotel was very secure and easy to get to. Recommend to anybody wanting an apartment in Verona.

The location was fantastic with piazza bra just steps away, the room and bathroom were clean , not to forget to mention the variety of choices for the breakfast Internet wifi signal doesn't reach the room, instead you have to go down to the lobby, also the receptionest lacks the information of the city activities

Great location right next to all the ciy's attractions. Rooms decently sized and appointed for the price. Good buffet breakfast with decent range. Located on one of the main Verona boulevards and above a busy McDonalds, which means that any front-facing rooms are going to be pretty noisy. Choose a rear-facing room if you can. For some reason the reception staff stick to a policy of not booking guests in before 2pm. Most hotels will book guests in even if their room is not ready. Mastino will allow you to leave your baggage, but you still must come back and book in after the appointed time. Seems overly rigid to me.

The hotel location was excellent. The bathroom very recently upgraded (and very nice) and it was much quieter than we expected (as it appeared to be very busy). The curtains were very light so the room could not be fully darkened.

The greatest place I've ever been into. The apartments is spacious, the view out of windows is pleasant and watery - on the river. That's nice.

Nice warm shower and comfortable room. Breakfast was good. The hotel is ideally located for site seeing in Verona, a stone-throw away from the Arena. The staff was friendly when we arrived very early in the morning, they stored our luggage and offered us a cup of coffee. Check in was at 2 pm and we couldn't check in earlier although we were extremely cold and tired.

Hotel location is great within walking distance to points of interest and only 5 minutes from train station. Taxi from train station to the hotel is around 12 -13 Euro including luggage. The room is stylish, nice and clean. Bath room is clean and equipped with all facilities you may need. There breakfast was really made my day, as they offer several sorts of breakfast and drinks not just only croissant, bread and butter. The great thing is that the hotel has elevator. That helped me a lot as I was so tired of dragging my luggage up and down the stairs for several day from the other hotel.

The price and the fact that I could book a triple room at short notice. The hotel was just at the beginning of the pedestrian entrance to Verona, perfect for sightseeing and shopping. The reception was small and took quite a while to book in. The breakfast was included, but the warm food was cold, and not very appetising. The plates were cold as well. The croissants etc were ok.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Being just outside Piazza Bra it is a couple of minutes away from the Arena and from the shopping high street. The other attractions of Verona are also within walking distance.

We stayed in the apartment building on the river. It was very quiet. It was in a lovely neighborhood located within walking distance of many interesting and beautiful areas. The staff was friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend these facilities.

The hotel is perfectly located just a short walk from historical center and railway station. Although it is on the high street Pгorto Nuovo the place is quiet. The room is nice and clean. The facilities are new. The bed sheets were changed daily, but on the last day we did not receive any towels... To our luck the cleaners trolley was left outside of the room, so we helped ourselves :). The breakfast was nice, but basic. Some omelet and bacon, cheese, ham, a lot of buns and... champagne... and fruits! The staff is very friendly and ready to help. It is great for travelers who came to explore Verona and it's romantic Sheakspire story. We will definetly stay here again if we will be visiting Verona again.

Hotel Mastino is located about 15 minutes walk from the train station, and only 2 minutes to the main quare and arena. Its a lovely hotel, rooms were a good size, and the breakfast was excellent. No free wifi ! I paid €2 for 1 hours wifi, but it doesnt work inside the hotel rooms, so I had to sit in hotel reception at 11pm to get internet.

Very good location of both hotel and appartments. Clean rooms. Neither wifi nor wired internet in appartments despite of hotel staff promising us for 3 days that "it will start working within one hour" and on top of that they gave us cable that wont fit any socket)). By the way when we payed for using wifi in appartments they confirmed that it exists! Only option to get connected is to go 10min walking distance to the hotel and use wifi there - very inconvinient. Another "didn't like" was broken shower - difficult to use.
