The reception staff were amazing! They let me check in early, which helped alot. This gave us a chance to do some early sightseeing of the city. Very helpful answering all my questions and even called me a cab to visit the Colosseum when asked. Everytime with a smile. From the first day we arrived till the last. Can't complain. Breakfast should be better. Juices weren't labeled and could be confusing to know which is which. Didn't know if it was fruit, tomato, carrot, pinneaple or orange. We had to taste from each one to find out. No eggs, bacon, cheese or hams,No fresh fruits, only canned. Only breads, pastries, crackers, yogurt, nutella & jams and muffins. Coffee and Cappuchino were also available. Cappuchino only on request. I believe a good day should start with a well balanced breakfast and this for me wasn'T.

This hotel is great for traveling with children. We traveled with 2 small children. The hotel room was big so we felt like staying at home, room and toilet were clean. It is also very convenience to have kitchen with plates, pots, cups, and silverware. The lady works in the restaurant were very helpful and kind. Breakfast was fine. Good hotel with fair price. The location is a couple blocks from the bus station, but this is your own choice as a hotel guest. You will not find such a big hotel room in the middle of Rom with this price. I would like to have more tourist information such as brochures, public transportation info and good maps in the lobby. We had to stay en extra night but the rate wasn't good unfortunately.

Firstly, a big 'thank you' to the staff at Mayfair. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all courteous, friendly and helpful at all times and spoke very good English We were surprised by the size of the suite we were allocated, which was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Despite other comments to the contrary, we found the breakfast to be more than adequate and enjoyed the fresh bread, delicious croissants, soft cheeses, fruit, cereals and yoghurt very much. As the hotel is in a business district it is very quiet at night. The decor is a little tired and shabby. We could have done with an electric kettle in the kitchenette.

A lot of space in the room (salon, kitchen, bed room, small corridor, shower with bath tub/wc) with a small kitchen. Breakfast was ok (only continental breakfast, especially bread, sweets, cornflakes, muesli, croissants, etc.). The staff in general was very helpfull (except for one person). Every two days, around 11.30 pm or 12 pm or early in the morning the trash outside was picked up. Around 8 am during school days we could hear children going to the nearby school. That was ok for us because we were already awake or could sleep through it. You can also ask for a room near the inner 'garden/ parking garage' (our friends had even a balcony).

The breakfast was first class in a lovely room overlooking a garden. The size of suite exceptional and a quiet location just a short walk to via veneto. Not a very nice view looking on to a street and ugly building opposite, plus all rubbish and recylce bins.

Location, spaciousness of accommodation, cleanliness and helpful staff. Thought the hotel could have had more information on travel, I.E. bus timetables, and metro. Also think it would be a good idea to have information about booking trips to various sites I.E. The Vatican City, the Coleseum etc. Actual Tourist information offices do not provide much information on the above.

The service was absolutely wonderful. We were treated as family and were made comfortable as front desk personnel went above and beyond. We had a mechanical issues but they were taken care of asap. I definitely loved staying there and the location is easy to access and very safe. There is a grocery down the street and metro is 7 min. Walk. I recommend this place if you are needing a home away fro home. Good breakfast as well.

The hotel staff was excellent. They were accommodating, made excellent restaurant recommendations, were very helpful regarding ways to get around and checked availability for us. They were knowledgable and breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. It was convenient to a local food store for packing lunches during tours and was fairly conveniently located to main attractions. We did not have air conditioning for two nights. They offered a small discount for the first night but not the second night. It was very hot and made sleeping after a long, busy, hot day almost impossible. The fold out couch literally swallowed you up at night and was uncomfortable. You had to climb out of it in the morning. There was no hot water, only luke warm which was okay since it was so hot out. Perhaps during a time other than summer, it would be okay.
