Location and standard of the hotel was excellent for the price. Very close to all the main sights and the shops. Staff were very helpful. Had a room with a view of the lake which was amazing! |

Location was excellent because of outlet Foxtown nearby. Como Lake and lots of restaurants by promenade were fantastic. Weather was sunny and warm, inspite of November. Accomodation was outstanding. There is not enough parking space availlable, and hotel employees don't know best, cheapest and nearest solution for parking (which we found alone). |

The hotel is in a very convenient location with easy access to restaurants, shopping, the train and ferries. We had requested a room with a view of the lake and got what we asked for but it turned out to be extremely noisy with traffic and construction in front of the hotel. |

Excellent location overlooking the lake is marred somewhat by the major construction of a new sea wall. Make sure you get an upper level room. Lovely place, well maintained with friendly staff except for the concierge who was aloof and brusque at times. |

Primarily the location and the view. The reception was quite helpful in changing our first room and they managed our restaurant reservations quite well. They were also polite and warm during our entire stay. Our first room, No: 4, if I am not mistaken, was very noisy. The second one,No: 31, which had a balcony which I asked for but that we could not use, was better and quieter. |

The location and views from the hotel. We booked a double and were given a twin with beds on either end of the room. It took much convincing the staff to give us a 'proper' room. Second room was better but out dated. Breakfast was ok but could have a wider selection of foods. |

Location of the hotel is perfect - on the lake and just a few minutes from the Duomo. Old hotel, still furnished as it was a century ago. Very romantic. Spacious room and bathroom. Beautiful view from the room. Excellent internet connection in the lobby. |

I loved the atmosphere and the old furniture at the hotel. The wooden floors and small carpets gave the room a nice touch. The bathroom in our superior room was spacious and had two sinks. I also liked the balcony with sea view, it was worth paying extra for this so me and my husband could spend the evenings there when our daughter was asleep. From my point of view the beds were a bit hard, but my husband like beds like this and said it was good for his back. |

We explored the Lake Como area including a boat trip to Bellagio, Marc Chagall art exhibit, funicular to Brunate. Some of the upholstered chairs in our room were broken. (arms fell off) A canvas tarp was suspended beneath the bathroom ceiling. We wondered why it was there and what was it supposed to catch? |

This was my fifth or sixth visit to the hotel. I love the location, always have had great views of the lake. Staff is quite professional and pleasant. Their recommendations of local restaurants are always good. |

We had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony. Our room was pleasant. I did not like the breakfast. No choice of bread, the fruit juice was out of a tetra-pak and too sweet. No margarine for people with cholesterol problems. The hot water in the coffee machine was not hot. The pillow was very hard. |

It's extremely well placed, with a very good service and an extraordinary welcoming (I got a room with lake view... simply flabbergasting). The inability from some in the staff reception to speak English or French. Fortunately, I know out to speak Italian, allowing me to get by quite easily. |

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Directly in front of the lake the views were amazing with the central square at the side of the hotel. Breakfast was included in the cost. The facilities were poor, it was advertised that a sauna was at the hotel however you had to pay 15euros for the use of it and also 23euros if you wanted to have the use of a television in your room. These things normally come as standard in a hotel. |
