Score from 423 reviews Excellent
Clean, easy walk to center, good breakfast
Staff was friendly, but mot forthcoming with info.
-The view -10 min. walk to the center -breakfast -parking
-wi-fi did not work in our room, but was very good in the lobby -we had a room for four people and we got one normal double bed and two little sofa beds which were very unconfortable (I got some really bad looks from my mother in law who had to sleep in one of them)
Large room & bathroom. Great view of the town from our window.
Our room smelt of cigarettes. A touch drab.
Location, nice and quiet but only a few minutes walk from town centre. Lovely spacious, clean room and bathroom. Free wifi (worked better in reception than room).
Perfect placement, clean and nice room
Noisy street in the night, poor breakfast, expensive parking.
The room was excellent with a terrace and wonderful views of the old city. The walk up to the town each morning was a bit of a drag some days but we got used to it. The hotel was located quite close to the bus station and only a 10 minute walk to the piazza. The restaurant opposite the hotel offered a discount for hotel guests and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The underground parking was a bonus.
The room was not thoroughly cleaned each day. the air conditioning was not very effective. The window blinds had to be opened and closed manually which was very noisy - not only ours but also other guests.
Ask for a room with a balcony, you'll get the best view of Siena. Breakfast is OK and the reception team are always ready to help.
It's an old building retrofitted with cheap furniture. No TV in english.
The location was very good, in the centre of Siena, the bedroom was pretty big, clean, comfortable bed, modern airco, worked very well in the heat, we had also a balcony with a lovely view of Siena' s medieval centre. I' m happy overall.
nothing went wrong.
Our terrace, the breakfast terrace, the views, the walk down to the small beach.
Getting stung by a jellyfish on the beach.
Room with terrace; buffet breakfast; away from very loud rock concerts in the town centre (Il Campo) at night until 1.45am ; 10 minutes to train station; 10 minutes to Il Campo. Plenty of good restaurants nearby.
The location was within easy walking distance of the train and the old city. Our room had a balcony with nice views overlooking the old city where we could sit and enjoy a glass of chianti the room was comfortable and breakfast was good.
We had smokers on the balcony next door and had to shut everything up at night to avoid a smoke filled room. Some of the staff were moody and not particularly welcoming.
Location and easy access in and out of Siena to neigtbour cities.
No hotel restaurante for servings other than breakfast.
Location and price
Breakfast was limited
Comfortable spacious room. Helpful staff on reception. Some good restaurants within 10 minute walk.
Clean, and more than expected. Wish we had stayed a second night
Area was hard to find and well expensive for being off the beaten track. Also WiFi would have helped
Good location for city center, very clean room with balcony facing the old city. lovely breakfast.
TERRIBLE service. The staff was rude and unhelpful , will not stay there again!
The price is good; we upgraded (for cash...) for a room with a terrace, which was wonderful. If you can walk up an inclined street for 800 m, you can get to the centre of the city. The staff were really helpful, and there's a great, big breakfast. Lots to see in the area.
It looks like a "no frills" hotel, and wouldn't be great for anyone with mobility issues. The economy rooms might be tight.
good breakfast. especially for european breakfast. located near where i needed to be. pretty view. had air condition.
no wifi. only had wifi for a few seconds. the staff was not very helpful. said server was out....all the time i was there?? shower extremely small. staff gave crazy directions. either they were stupid or mean. no cream rinse. very very small room was considered standard..
Loved our patio overlooking the city.
Spacious room and bathroom. Clean environment and helpful front desk staff
Nice facility and good breakfast.
Loved the views from window in room, good helpful staff, great central location. Breakfast was an added treat. Would stay there again and recommend to friends.
Large room with balcony and beautiful view of Sienna. Breakfast was lovely. Easy walk to the Sienna square
Nothing really. I would advise those arriving by train that it is a doable but a bit uphill climb to the hotel if you are walking with luggage you might consider a taxi. This is not a negative, simply an observation.
It was functional, relatively convienent on the edge of a city (Siena) that one cannot drive into, if you do you will get lost. One can walk to the centre in 10 minutes.
Lacks any grace
