Breakfast to improve

Very clean, comfortable parking, comfortable location to reach the centre.

Our room had a lovely view, and was really clean, but I caught a glance at a re-newed room and there was a deep difference, so maybe next time I'll ask for a renewed room :-)

Brand new furniture, very stylish and cool bathroom. Nice breakfast (but we are for the continental-sweet one, we didn't consider the international one). Good location, 5/10 minutes by feet and you are at the heart of Siena. Kind staff. Very good price/quality ratio.

Our room was a little cold and the heating system was quite noisy, so we switched it off during the night. Anyway, the room was not so cold even with the heater down and you can turn it on when you are out, so there's nothing yuo can't stand for 1 or 2 nights.

The Hotel MInerva was reasonably close to the train station- though it was up hill to get there- much better when we left! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was not very big- one of the smallest on our trip, but the view of old Siena was to die for!!! The breakfast was nice- lots to choose from and the hotel organized an excellent tour for us. We had a take-away meal one evening and the hotel very kindly provided a fork and plate for us inthe dining room,which was nice of them.

It could have had tea and coffee facilities in the hotel- and a bigger room, but it was fine!

A great view of the town from a big private terrace outside our room. Breakfast good, also including a selection of cereals, fruts and yoghurts. Walking distance to all sights.

Ideally twin beds should be offered, more favourable for friends/sisters travelling together. Air condition was limited / seemed to be not not diminsioned for the heat.

Great location, but was dismayed to be asked to pay cash for parking. Hotel room was paid for with credit card, but parking was not possible to pay with the card. Really? Please insist on paying other than cash to assist the Italian's reducing their state debt.

Very clean, nice breakfast, and most important, good hot water !

Location inside the old city of siena in walking distance to all attractions

Close enough to everything yet out of the way of crowds. Quite comfortable and quiet. Good breakfast.

Pleasent hotel and staff, good location, good breakfast. A good honest hotel and easy place to stay

Reception staff is very helpful and positive. We were provided by the good room on 1st floor with huge terrace with perfect view of old Siena. Not all rooms are equipped with terraces, there are only few ones as I understood. Location is not bad, about 15 minutes walk from Piazza del Campo, however similar time from train station. For me, this location is optimal for Siena if you arrive and leave by train, as climbing to city center with heavy luggage is not pleasant thing.

The cleaning service should be seriously improved. For example, the maid who cleaned our room was leaving only 2 very small packages of bath gel / shampoo for 2 people, which was for sure not enough, it should be at least 2 for one person when it is combined bath gel / shampoo in such a small packages like here. One day they forgot to leave anything. However when I came with this problem on the reception, the guy here was very helpful and provided me immediately with all I needed. Second issue is soundproof. It looks like it does not exist at all. There was a football match on TV Saturday evening, and it was like the match was in my room however only my neighbours attended it via TV.

Clean and good size room.

Not sound proof so practically heard walkway and neighbouring room noises that disturb our sleep.
