The room was quiet and I had a nice view from the window. The breakfast was also good. Siena Old city was in a walking distance. |

The only good thing was the helpfulness of reception staff. Breakfast service poor like refilling trays as they were emptied and having to pay for cappucino. |

Hotel staff were frindley and helpful. Room view was excellent with a terrace overlooking the city. Room quality however is very avarage. The hotel is located on the edge of the city. You have to walk for 10 minutes uphill to reach the main street leading to the center. Also the beds are not very comfortable. |

It was located at just the right spot for us (not too far from the train station and a short 5 min. walk to the center of town). I also really appreciated the cleanliness of the room. I have stayed in hotels in Europe before and they can be quite gross. Big, clean room with the most amazing view of Siena!! The view from our balcony was incredible. |

I liked the room, and the hotel. Good location, just inside the city walls and 10mins walk from the bus station, and the heart of Siena. Initially we were given a room with a view that was tiny, dirty and not very nice. However we politely requested a change and were given a modern, recently refurbished room without a view - we were much happier. |

The manager during the day was excellent. He was very helpful and always came up with the anwsers one needs. Compared to other similar Hotels in Siena, the charge might be a little too high. |

Our second visit to the Minerva. The hotel provides the correct mixture of helpful staff, cleanliness and comfort Taciturn night porter - probably matched our lack of Italian with a lack of English which is quite understandable. |
