Friendly staff,comfortable ideal for a business trip to verona

Close to the highway. Beds were quite comfortable.

The location is not very comfortable, and doesn't feel very safe. The parking is rather small. The bathroom is very small - shower is almost combined with wc. Breakfast is poor. On the hotel I think it was overpriced.

Air conditioning was great and good selection for breakfast.

One of the hotel receptionists was quite rude but everybody else treated us very well. With that said it is located too far from city centre. As student backpackers we didnt want to spend money on a taxi so the walk was very far and was torture in the heat

We stayed only on night in hotel monaco to visit the city verona. We went by car to verona, but we also had our bikes with us, and that would be a better option. It is too far to walk, but the citadelle parking space is 2 euro's per hour, which is quite okay. Because we left the next day to the netherlands, monaco was perfectly situated very near the a4. Within 5 minutes we were on the highway. The bedroom had a good size.

The breakfast was okay, but the bread seemed a bit old and I didn't like the coffee which is very odd in a country like italy. The bathroom was very small and strangely arranged. It was a space of 1x3m with first the sink, than the shower and than the toilet. When you wanted to use the shower you had to close two shutter doors to not wet the toilet or the sink. We stayed for 72 euro including breakfast for two. But the original price would be 160 euro and that is too expensive I think.

Distance between city center, a little bit far from it. In Sunday's there are no Bus to go to city center, only by taxi.

Rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and spoke English, which is necessary for non-Italian speaking travelers like us. There is an elevator as well, so those who require one will find it for sure.

Well, if you don't have your personal vehicle then commuting is a big heck especially during Sundays and the public holidays. On the other days only Bus No. 83 is available from the Station, that too not very frequent. The hotel is far from the city centre and the station. However, radio taxi is available. And, yes of course the breakfast...it surely does not fit the "value for money" category. The quality of it really let us down!

Personale cordiale , hotel pulito ed accogliente bagno e camera spaziosi ottimo rapporto qualita' prezzo , colazione discreta .

Unica pecca la posizione Situato a pochi centinaia di metri dall'uscita autostradale di Verona sud nel cuore della zona industriale e commerciale a 5 km dal centro , per muoversi occorre avere la macchina nei dintorni non vi e tanto .
