clean hotel with large room and high ceilings..staff was helpful.
did not like the shower...hard to move around in tub area
Location, staff are accomodating and helpful, clean & nice interior, near to restaurant, shopping st., u can reach most of d important places by walking, yet quite pricey but overall we are satisfied with the hotel, we are looking forward to come back hopefully.
Nothing so far...
Excellent location, helpful staff, large comfortable room. Tea and coffee facilities in the room (you have to ask for it though). Gluten-free goodies for breakfast. Very good wifi (free).
What is there not to like?
Excellent location. Termini on one side and repubblica on the other. Easy access to bus & Metro. Friendly staff. Good Wifi. Nice comfortable rooms
Breakfast was monotonous. Not much options for us vegetarians
Great location and good value for money.Breakfast very good.
Super ultra poor breakfast- Thin walls, dark rooms, old style -for someone who doesn't know Rome nor Italian he may face a bit of difficulties to find his way around!! The walls
Very central, 5 minutes from the Railway and bus and Metro station. 10 minute bus ride to all important sights. Quiet at night, good air-conditioning.
Empty Mini-bar, never filled. No body lotion - important when you cannot travel with liquids. No decent restaurants near-by, only tourist traps. Breakfast was rather poor and boring.
Hotel Mondial is a well run hotel with high standards. The rooms are of quality and spacious by Rome standards. The staff looks out for you with an emphasis on service with a professional friendly outlook. I do highly recommend this hotel.
Several newspapers have a daily presence here; maybe include an English newspaper.
Location to central train station Facilities at the hotel Stayed there previously and would go back again
The hotel reception were extremely rude
Very good price, good location.
the location and services of this hotel is good
clean, good location,
The hotel is centrally located near Termini Station. The staff are cordial and nice.
The breakfast refill is poor. The toaster was out of order and when things finish they are not refilled promptly.
Ultra-modern and classical at the same time. Everything about this place was exceptional! Spotless. Exceptional bathrooms. Very helpful front desk staff!! Room excellent. Free brekkie - excellent. Location - easy walk to several sites, Termini, Hop-on-hop-off. Great restaurants in the area.
Need bigger, fluffier pillows. Ours were the thickness of a towel. Breakfast hostesses need to smile.
Location is good.
Breakfast is horrible. I tried eating but everything tasted awful. Staff are mostly rude and lack training. Had to sleep one night in a boiling hot room as air con broke down. Water leaking from the ceiling. Wifi keeps cutting off. Horrible view from window. Toilet broke down. You can ear everything from other rooms. I don't understand how this hotel has such good ratings.
location - its very close to the train station and the main tourist attractions
very good and professional staff at reception, cooperative and hardworker.
good location, beside the Metro staion(Republic) and Republic Square. Warmly staff and clean room.
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in July and will never go back. Upon check in, I was not offered any assistance with my two suitcases. I was a solo traveler had to take all my luggage to my room myself while the staff looked on. I was simply given the key and directed to the elevator. I was not informed of the hotel's amenities or anything else for that matter. The staff were far from friendly. The bed was so stiff I had to lay down extra blankets after waking up with back pain the next morning. When I told the staff of this, they simply removed the wooden board from underneath the mattress which did not help at all. When checking out, the lady at reception was so rude! Not a single smile from her as she totalled my bill and slapped my credit card on the desk as she returned it to me. Never had such a terrible experience and we never return to this place.
We selected the hotel as a 4 star hotel close to Termini Station, the location was good as a basis for our daily trips in the city and outside.Breakfast was good. Good wi-fi signal in the room. Staff were helpful.
Upon arrival we were given a room on the fifth floor, the room size was fair but it had a very bad smell (most probably from the carpets); the safe was stuck, room amenities were limited to two pieces of soap and 2 bottles of shampoo (20 ml each) and a shower cap, the minibar was empty. We asked to change the room on the count that we made a mistake of reserving a double instead of a twin room. The next day, they gave us another room on the first floor, a bigger room and without the bad smell however it was closer to the street so it was very noisy at night. Not a 4 star hotel!!
The location is excellent ideal for the Termini Station and Metro.
The wifi was great in reception but poor in the bedroom.
the location, staff and services are good. The day I did check out I thought I have lost my eye glasses in the hotel but later I found it with me. sorry for that.
Rooms were clean, there is a/c, wifi worked great, close to Termini, and the hotel is beautiful.
This is hard to choose because my experience was mostly positive. In the bathrooms, I suppose they could've added nicer shampoo and some lotion.
