Excellent service, location and comfort. I stayed in both the Hotel Montreal and Elite and found both to be of high standard compared to many others in the same price range in several european countries.

We stopped at Hotel Elite which is just down the road from the Montreal. The staff were fantastic and made us really welcome, as well as offering advice on where to go and where to eat without falling into the over-priced tourist traps. *****

Excellent downtown location. Reasonable prices. Very nice continental breakfast. The staff (especially Nadia at the Hotel Elite) were polite and helpful

Water flow for shower was very bad in the morning.

It was a good clean hotel in good location. They provided a good B/F that was included in price of hotel.

For older people it was a little hard to get around in with lots of stairs and long winding hallways. A be confusing. But nothing major.

smokey smell in non-smoking room, very small room, very sporadic internet Wi-Fi access (server regularly down), but mostly I did not appreciate the indifferent staff, all except for the lovely woman at checkout.

Althought they had said the credicard given upon booking on the website could be charged on the day of arrival, I expected them telling me before doing so. I had given the card for garantee and I wanted to pay cash, so I wasn't happy about it.

Good location, pretty clean, quite spacious, good budget hotel

Noisy (the bulding is mostly residential and Italian families can be rather noisy), shower didn't drain properly, air con unit in room but no control (presumably this is an optional extra)

The hotel (Elite, ie, the dependence) is very close to the train station and, since the town is small, is very easy to reach the turist places by foot. The hotel had an electrical plug adaptor to lend and it keept our lugage for a couple of hours without chargung extra. It was nice to hear portuguese amoung the bar staff.

To many steeps to the upper rooms.
