Score from 432 reviews Very good
Loud on the street at night but that's to be expected at the location
Very noisy if room faces onto the street. Restaurant across the road had live music until 11.30pm several nights. Once room was changed it was fine.
Close to station and town center. Roof terrace. Nice rooms
No air-condition during staying there. No window for the air. We had to open balcony door which was noisy. Next time, air-condition remote please
location is the best, near train station just a block
The usual for Europe,small shower.
Potion was good and the staff helpfull and friendly. Good sized bedroom and bathroom, but the shower was small. Overall it was value for money.
Steps away from train station and buses to Amalfi coast.
The street was extremely noisy and breakfast was served way after I had to leave.
I needed a last-minute room near the bus station so that I could travel before a transportation strike. Hotel Nice fit the bill. It is right next to the bus station and was in expensive. I would say it was "Okay" or "Fine", but not that nice. I think Hotel Nice is a bit of an overstatement. Hotel Okay would be a better name.
proximity to the train station, extremely friendly and helpful staff
The rooms are somewhat small and the shower stall is small.
The hotel is close to the train station and we were using the train to leave. It's a short walk to the tourist district. Breakfast was good. Terrace was good for people watching.
Very modern, tasteful design and very comfortable. It has a "welcome home" feeling, priceless after the whole day of walking and sightseeing. Good location and most helpful host. Thank you!
The shower is very small even though the water pressure is good.
The hotel is in a very good position within walking distance of the Sorrento main piazza and bus and train station. The rooms are basic but clean and value for money considering the position. The staff were excellent as we had an issue that needed to be resolved and they went out of their way to help. We chose a room with a balcony overlooking the main street which was noisy but our choice so we could sit out and enjoy the passing parade but they do offer rooms on the otherside if that's a problem.
No English speaking tv channels
Friendly staff. Low key place. Good value for money. Rooms on the garden side are very quiet.
Decor a bit tired.
Location is excellent, great value for money, great staff. Roof Terrance great for chilling.
After getting out of the lift we did not know we had to climb stairs to get to our room. Since we were mother and daughter carrying the heavy luggage was a chore.
Nice rooms and easy walking to all the shopping
No breakfast for me. I'm coeliac and had avised this in advance but was told in the restaurant "nothing for you, sorry". The coffee is from an automatic push-button machine and looked so bad I didn't attempt to drink it. The shower is tiny but the room was fine. We couldn't get wi-fi in our room and had to go the ground floor. Lots of stairs to get to the room and a tiny elevator. We asked for a blanket for the bed as it didn't have one and we were cold but we never got one!
Location was superb. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful.
I was given free travel guidance when I approach the jovios counter staff in the day for advice. Croissant were home made fresh daily. We enjoyed 3 day stay. I recommend people stay in sorrento instead of other area. It is the hub of buses and train stops to almafi coast. It is cheaper here and at times have event performance
The wifi worked on the third floor only from time to time, but seem to work just fine in the rest of the hotel. The staff doesn't speak english, just italian, sometimes it was difficult to communicate with them.
Very good location, next to the Circumvesuviana and Sita Bus stations, also near to the city center and harbour. Breakfast basic italian, nothing special. Big and clean rooms.
Near to train station.
Extra small shower, but doable. Desperately need small fridge.
Perfect location for Sorrento. Spent 5 nights in this very centrally located hotel. Nice terrace where I could have my coffee, or bring a lunch to ... With easy access to Train Station and Bus Terminal, as well as easy walk to Port where to take fast boats to Capri, Amalfi, etc. ... Very clean, simply appointed room. Friendly staff. My room gave on the back of the hotel with a lovely view of an orchard and other greenery. Definitively worth the price and would stay there again.
Th breakfast was pretty ordinary not much choice.
Very handy for the train station, short stroll to the old part of Sorrento with all the interesting eateries, shops and amazing views.
Ants in the room. Loud at night
Location Value for money
Shower did not drain well
Location, staff, roof top terrace, clothes line on roof top terrace.
Wifi sometimes a bit weak in room.
Very central location, nice outdoor seating area on rooftop.
The breakfast was very limited and the same each day. No fruit available. The kitchen staff were miserable. The bedroom was dingy and uninviting peeling wallpaper. The hotel echoed so no sleep also maintenance seemed to be carried out at night banging and drilling.
The location was excellent and the hotel staff helpful. The bedding, floors and towels supplied were very clean. The bathroom wS good
The shower was a bit of a challenge in size but there was always hot water and we soon got used to it. The bed was a bit firmer than we are accustomed to, but again, soon got used to it.
Location was excellent - 50 yards from bus station and railway station. Shuttle bus from the port and ferries (1.2 euro) went to railway station so all means of transportation were covered. It was maybe a few minutes walk to the main square, restaurants and shops. Staff were always very helpful, pleasant and most spoke some English. Air conditioning was very effective (and quiet) and wi fi worked well. Breakfast was adequate. Our room was large with a balcony facing the Main Street. It was quite noisy but it did not bother us at all - shutters kept most of the noise out. We had a great view of a park/piazza across the road. There were 2 English speaking channels on the television, CNN and BBC World. The hotel was kept spotlessly clean and bedding and towels were changed daily.
