Hotel Oasi Neumann  

Gutes Hotel, ehemaliges Kloster mit klassischem Charme. Liegt ausserhalb von Cortona. Um zur Stadt zu fahren, am besten am Piazza Mazzini parken. Das Hotel bietet bei guter Auslastung auch Halbpension, das Essen ist abends ein 3 Gänge Menu, wo man zwischen je 2 Gerichten wählen kann

Da das Hotel nicht voll ausgelasted war, gab es nur am 1 Abend das Menu. Unter normalen Bedinungen gibt es das regelmässig

Freundlicher Empfang, gute Lage, gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, schönes Ambiente als früheres Kloster, Sauberkeit

Gutes Preis / Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr gut deutsch sprechender Empfang. Ein sehr großer wunderschöner Garten mit einer Aussicht über das ganze Gebiet.

Auch die uralten dicken Klostermauern konnten die Hitze nicht mehr aufhalten. Somit war es bei fehlender Klimaanlage sehr, sehr warm in den Zimmern, denn auch die in ganz Italien üblichen Fensterladen waren nicht vorhanden, so dass die Sonne gnadenlos den ganzen Tag "heizen" konnte.

Eveything was ok

The hotel is located about 1/2 mile outside the city walls of Cortona. Although it is possible to walk 1/2 mile to the area where there is an escalator to assist in reaching the city which sits on a hill, the walk is uphill to that point. We found it esier to drive to the free parking lot located across the road from the escalator when we went into the city for dinnner and sightseeing.

A former monastery, this was a great place, with fantastic views from our room and from the garden. Rooms were spacious, beautiful art work through out the hotel, nice leather sofas in lounge.

The hotel was set away from Cortona and it was very difficult to get a taxi to town. The taxi information would have been useful before booking or possibly a shuttle to town. The bed was so very hard.

the novelty of staying in a former monastery..the gardens were very nice with stunning views,and also the room had great views.

the location is a very steep climb into cortona,and lack of air.con.in room.

The staff was very helpful, the room clean.

Without a car, the location was not good. Had to take a taxi everywhere, no less than 10euros each time. The place is very institutional, no warmth. It made me a little feel a little creepy.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Oasi Neuman, but driving the uphill narrow roads to get to the hotel was very stressful. I suppose one gets used to two lane roads that are barely one car width. The grounds were lovely and the views made for great pictures. The hotel offered a dinner menu that could be charged to the room, but with no prices. It appeared to be a price fixed menu, so we ordered each course. The charges appeared separately on the bill for each course, so each course probably could have been ordered individually. The prices seemed reasonable and the waiter was amazing.

While we enjoyed our stay at Oasi Neuman and could recommend the hotel, the drive to the hotel was challenging!

Perfetto per un week end, ottima posizione e molto suggestivo. Camere molto pulite e gran bel panorama. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Nel contesto comunque tutto bene lo consiglierei sicuramente.

Peccato il letto un pò una penitenza per la schiena.

L'ambiente è sobrio e molto tranquillo. Bello il giardino. Il rapporto qualita' prezzo è buono.

Si può dire che il parcheggio per auto è insufficiente ed affatto agevole. La colazione piuttosto spartana.

La posizione e la struttura storica di notevole bellezza insieme al bellissimo parco con affaccio sulla vista panoramica molto ben tenuto. Il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile.

La camera era piuttosto piccola e il rapporto qualità - prezzo in generale non mi ha soddisfatto fatta eccezione per la massima gentilezza dello staff. Gli arredi non erano all'altezza del luogo e la colazione presentava troppi elementi "confezionati". Fatto meno importante non funzionava il condizionatore. Il potenziale della struttura è inespresso e ciò è un peccato.
