A former monastery, this was a great place, with fantastic views from our room and from the garden. Rooms were spacious, beautiful art work through out the hotel, nice leather sofas in lounge.

the novelty of staying in a former monastery..the gardens were very nice with stunning views,and also the room had great views. the location is a very steep climb into cortona,and lack of air.con.in room.

The view from hotel room over Tuscany countryside was excellent. There was a very nice garden with the same view. Breakfast was rich and was served in a very nice room. Walking to Cortona's city center is slightly difficult, since the hotel is located downhill from the city. Room was not very spacious.

The hotel is located about 1/2 mile outside the city walls of Cortona. Although it is possible to walk 1/2 mile to the area where there is an escalator to assist in reaching the city which sits on a hill, the walk is uphill to that point. We found it esier to drive to the free parking lot located across the road from the escalator when we went into the city for dinnner and sightseeing.

The staff was very helpful, the room clean. Without a car, the location was not good. Had to take a taxi everywhere, no less than 10euros each time. The place is very institutional, no warmth. It made me a little feel a little creepy.

Good location even though just outside of town. Good breakfast. Great staff. Very quiet Overall very good - comments here not to be negative, but to potentially make things better (or help with others expectations regarding internet connectivity at hotel) - wifi only available in "common areas" but that appearently only meant the lobby area (but there was a computer that was available for use also). The internet service was quite slow (not sure if that is a limitation of the hotel's service itself or an issue for the whole general area).

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Oasi Neuman, but driving the uphill narrow roads to get to the hotel was very stressful. I suppose one gets used to two lane roads that are barely one car width. The grounds were lovely and the views made for great pictures. The hotel offered a dinner menu that could be charged to the room, but with no prices. It appeared to be a price fixed menu, so we ordered each course. The charges appeared separately on the bill for each course, so each course probably could have been ordered individually. The prices seemed reasonable and the waiter was amazing. While we enjoyed our stay at Oasi Neuman and could recommend the hotel, the drive to the hotel was challenging!

L'ambiente è sobrio e molto tranquillo. Bello il giardino. Il rapporto qualita' prezzo è buono. Si può dire che il parcheggio per auto è insufficiente ed affatto agevole. La colazione piuttosto spartana.

Perfetto per un week end, ottima posizione e molto suggestivo. Camere molto pulite e gran bel panorama. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Nel contesto comunque tutto bene lo consiglierei sicuramente. Peccato il letto un pò una penitenza per la schiena.

Un endroit idéal pour séjourner lors d'une visite à Cortona qui mérite vraiment le détour : calme, à l'écart de la ville mais tout proche, splendide vue sur le Valdechiana et le lac Trasimène, chambre spacieuses au confort sommaire ( c'est une ancien couvent !). Et aucun problème pour garer la voiture. Absence de climatisation dans les chambres. Seulement des ventilateurs, insuffisant lors d'une période de grosse chaleur comme cela a été le cas (plus de 40° pendant une semaine)..

Le cadre, la tranquillité, le jardin, la vue sur la campagne, et la relative proximité avec la vile de Cortona. L’exiguïté de la chambre, fort loin de la photo présentée. Le confort très moyen de la literie : matelas posé sur un cadre métallique branlant. Conséquence : un rapport qualité / prix pas intéressant.

Ładne położenie hotelu, blisko Cortony ale uwaga: kilkaset metrów ostro pod górę! Miła obsługa, dobre śniadania, wifi działa w pokoju. Brak klimatyzacji to poważna wada hotelu w Toskanii. Idąc obszernym klasztornym korytarzem do pokoju spodziewamy się podobnej przestrzeni a zastajemy mały pokój z maleńką łazienką. Otwarte drzwi od szafy w przedpokoiku stanowią skuteczną zaporę na drodze do łazieneczki lub wyjścia z pokoju. Jeśli ktoś chciałby dłużej pospać, to zatyczki w uszy gdyż trzaskający drzwiami ok. godz. siódmej niemieccy turyści pędzący na śniadanie wspomagani przez cudowną akustykę starego klasztoru skutecznie wybiją to z głowy "czarnej owcy".
