Less than 2 km from Rome’s famous low cost airport, Hotel Palavicchi is the ideal spot for visiting the Eternal City and its surrounding areas. The Roman Castles, Archaeological Park of Appia Antica and Rome’s historic centre are all within a 25 km radius of the hotel. The hotel is well connected to main motorways (G.R.A.), railway stations and public transport (Metro A - Anagnina station) and will even provide a shuttle service to airport, railway and metro at an additional cost.

Providing modern and comfortable accommodation, the hotel has separated the structure into 2 areas. One area is dedicated to groups to ensure all guests a relaxing stay. Reasonably quiet stay, nice staff, good shuttle service to and from the airport (except see below)

Was disappointed that the night porter was asleep so couldn't raise him to send the shuttle bus to the airport therefore had to pay €16 for a taxi.

Durty bathroom, very noisy, no control by staff, very bad beds, old fashioned hotel.

The only reason to go here is if you have a very early flight out of
Italy from Ciampino. The restaurant looked nice though.

The room was incredibly badly soundproofed! No problem hearing
neighbours talking very low. Plenty of ants in the room, and a leaking
basin. The towels were ripped and torn. Still much more expensive than
in central Rome.

The room was spacious. The bathroom also large enough. The towels were good; The breakfast buffet was very, very nice. The hotel restaurant was good for supper. The staff were very hospitable. The hotel is very close to the airport but we were not bothered by noise. Overall I thought it was good for the price.

It was very difficult to find because the name of the hotel was not on the sign. Instead the sign lists the name of their restaurant, so we had to phone for directions. This wasted time when we were tired and worried. That is not good. Also, since it is isolated from the town you need to drive to another restaurant if you don't want to eat at the hotel. The coffee was not warm enough at breakfast because it was kept in a dispenser.

We stayed for just one night,but I liked your kind stuff,and your good conection with airport.

If you are staying in rooms number 600,you have to walk with your lugage for long time...

closeness to Ciampino airport; clean basic but practical-well organized

well it is not a hotel but a motel and in the middle of the industrial area but nobody beats their closeness to Ciampino

The free buffet for breakfast was really great and abondant.The navette service between the aiport and the ciampino station is really nice (quick service). The room was really big and the bathroom too. We didnt get annoyed by the plane noise.
Really nice hotel if you wanna sleep well and be fresh for your trip.
