Junior suite was great with 2 big beds and huge spa bath - we walked into verona easily in 25 min - it's a nice walk and helps you get your bearings
Not too much right on hotel doorstep but I knew that anyway an we were the for the city - kids pleased there was a McDonald's 2 min away !
Really lovely hotel, staff were brilliant bus to the opera great plus, breakfast first class great value for money
bit outside the city
Clean, friendly, nice
No free breakfast, far from center
very kind staff excellent breakfast buffet, not in city center, but walking distance.
Staff friendly and helpful. Simply furnished but high quality rooms and bathroom. Secure parking.
Not a beautiful or historic place. Outside the old city (but this means it has parking).
Great hotel, and great value for money. Rooms were large and well equipped, and breakfast was lovely. Location was good - a 20 minute walk to the centre past the castle and the staff really helpful.
spacious, clean, excellent rooms. helpful staff
Very helpful staff, they have a very good relationship with a local taxi company, we used then about 3 times and din't wait any longer than 10 mins. Rooms are good sized and very clean. Free Wi-Fi. We only had a room so can't comment on food.
Location is OK, we walked into the city as we wanted to see some of the sights on the way in and it took us around 40 mins this included stopping to take photos. We used taxis to go in and out of the city centre during the evening and to go to the rail station and even though this adds to the cost of your stay, you will pay extra for a hotel in the city centre so it's a swings and roundabouts scenario.
Good location. Decent breakfast. Clean rooms
Not enough noise insulation. Decorated in a very old fashion.
good location, bus stop closeby, very clean
Great for city break. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast options.
A bit further out of city than we'd have liked, but still walkable and on bus route. Would be great if had a small pool!
Although it's not a long walk to the centre, after a long days exploring it was tiring to trudge back to the hotel. Also don't be too shocked by the look of the hotel from the outside-it looks very dated but as soon as you walk through the doors it is great.
Service in reception was excellent. Talkative and informative receptionist gave us a wide range of good information - also outside of tourist intrests. Excellent beds and breakfast.
Location a bit outside. No bars or restaurants just nearby but on the otherhand the old town was possible to reach by walking
hotel is nice, but quite far from the center. you can park the car free of charge on the other side of the street
Location was very good. Breakfast was nice. Staff was very nice.
Maybe the price could be lower? Maybe price should include parking, since it is the parking lot of the hotel itself.
No kettle in room to provide personal coffee facilitiy.
Very nice, big rooms and bath. Comfortable, large bed. Extremely, knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant lady at checkout in the morning. Check-in late evening was quite smooth.
Rather rude reaction from front desk manager in the morning to my request for a special breakfast offer ($10 normal price). I can attribute words such as "its not my problem" and "why should I?" to language skills, but the unpleasant manner and delivery is unacceptable. I think the hotel lost an opportunity to make at least some money while delighting a (well travelled) customer.
Good hotel, staff is very professional, decent breakfast, nice location, very clean, very good value for money.
Poor Wi-Fi signal in rooms but generally nothing to dislike.
Limpio, silencioso, bien ubicado y personal excelente // Clean, quite, well located and with excelent staff
El desayuno es demasiado caro, hay una cafetería a dos paso y ahí se desayuna genial y muy barato // Breakfast is really expensive, but you have a coffe shop nearby with a great and cheap breakfast
Nice large room and bathroom. Very helpful staff. Secure parking was nice. Good location in terms of a quick walk to the old town. Nice view from our room of the canal - thank you!
Wifi was supposed to be free and it was, but it didn't work in the room and in the lobby it was slow at best. Very disappointing as we both needed to get some work done and were unable to accomplish anything. If you need/want wifi, you may want to choose someplace else as you won't have decent wifi here. Breakfast also very expensive at 20 Euro per person. There was an odour in the room, kind of like the room had been unused for awhile. We opened the windows, but it didn't seem to help.
The hotel is within walking distance to town Centre. Internet was super fast and breakfast was good. My husband left his hand carry bag at the hotel and the manager did everything to help to reunite us with it and his essential medicines. UPS was terrible. First with a hazardous material alert due to his medicines and then delay due to May 1st holiday. Then they claimed they could not find Hallstatt while millions of tourists from the Far East find their way their. Excellent hotel. Highly recommended particularly if you have an absent minded husband.
Staff is very helpful.
Breakfast is much expensive for price.
