perfect reception and breakfast staff delicious breakfast really open helpful staff
small single room i hate stable showers
- Staff - Food - Clean
Good location near station
If on the street side: noise from square. If on other side: you will be woken up by church bells at 7AM. Thin walls too.
-Personel very polite and helpful -Room very quiet -Location
-Shower batery fixed-not confortable.. -Welcoming sweets too cheap for the price of the room.
Hotel was a short walk to transport. We liked the area and had restaurants, a shop and laundrette close at hand. The breakfast was very good and staff very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Nice atmosphere.
Lifts were not working. Wi-Fi not working.
Small room size (cannot open the room door if suitcase is opened).
I always stay at this hotel when I'm in Florence. It's easy to drive to and a short walk from everything. Staff is very accommodating. Good restaurants nearby. Close to train station, too. Just book it!
Location- close to Train Station and car Rental ...
Wifi doesn't work in the bedroom
good location. Nice hotel staff.
The design inside the hotel is very poor. Very small bathroom.
Good location especially if you are picking or dropping of rental car in the city centre. Clean and good for 1-2days to explore the city.
Good location, walking distance too all sights. Hop-on - Hop-off station nearby, good breakfast spread, friendly staff. Parking available offsite in covered garage.
Rooms are fairly small and basic.
Smart choice: good price and quality and location combination
Street was bit noisy at early morning. Breakfast was OK, but every day same without any change
This is a very convenient location with an easy walk to main train station but it is over cobblestone streets, which make pulling a suitcase a little rough. We found most everything we wanted to see was within our walking distance. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. When I asked to have a true twin bed or an additional mattress for our son they arranged for another mattress on top of the thin one right away. City maps right at the front desk were perfect and info shared by the staff was spot-on. Just across the street, to the right as we left the hotel, we found a laundromat which made washing and drying our clothes a breeze! It was 3,50 Euros each for a washer and dryer. Hotel has a laundry service but it is pricey. Breakfast was included in the room price and was good with a moderate variety and more than a standard Italian breakfast.
I requested the option with 3-twin beds when I booked the reservation. Be aware that this hotel considers 3-twins as two twin beds pushed together and a narrow chair bed with a super thin mattress. Our 22-year- old son sat on his "bed" and said it felt like he was sitting on the bare metal frame. I tried to sit on it and instantly felt the frame, too. This might work for a small child, say up to age 8 or so, but not for a 6'3", 180 lb. Adult!! Air conditioning didn't work well and it took well into the night to cool the room enough to sleep. The room was very small for a triple room and we all felt cramped. The only way to open suitcases was on the beds.
Decent breakfast, good happy hour, excellent staff, good location,
Shower went hot and cold, every other minute, at any time of day. Could be dangerous for children. No evening meal available.
Not a bad walk to the Center. Many restaurants nearby. Good breakfast
Make sure you know which exit to leave from the train station to get to the hotel. Short walk to hotel if you take the right road!
Breakfast was excellent - lots to choose from and the quality of the food was excellent. The best hotel food we've tasted in the 3 weeks we travelled across Europe. Staff had answers to whatever questions or suggestions we asked for. Ever so helpfull and accommodating.
not very close to main attractions but not very far, as well (not really a big issue considering all the positive things the hotel offers).
Staff very helpful and on the ball. Good English language skills - and more used to American travelers than the average hotel. I had a very brief stay coming in at 5pm and needing to leave for the airport via cab at 5am. They arranged my cab ahead of time (and cab was there on time) and not only did an automated wake up call at 4:30, but then front desk called 10 minutes later to make sure I had got it - and was up! That is service - and not the norm in Italy. And the place was nice and clean and quiet. Next trip to Florence I will stay there.
The shower stalls are a bit tiny - ok for me, but some travelers might be a tight fit.
Very noisy outside.
Location is within walking distance of the train and bus stations. Friendly staff and very pleasant hotel facilities. I would come back here happily.
The wi-fi for my laptop was unreliable, but I did not follow this up with staff as I was only there for one night.
Location good, staff helpful in directions and suggestions
Bathroom cleaning not very well done
The staff were extremely efficient, organized, informative. Porter requests were dealt with immediately. The hotel and rooms kept extremely clean. Breakfast supplied was an excellent selection of cooked and continental. All freshly prepared. Choice of latte, cappuccino etc on request was an added bonus. The hotel was very central. Rooms were quiet. All the staff spoke good English. We would definitely return to this hotel when visiting Florence again.
overall pretty good.. i like the welcome food around tea time!
