Also close to the hotel is the Tower of Michelangelo, now a museum and venue for events and exhibitions. The legend has it that Michelangelo Buonarroti, a guest in Ischia of his dear friend Vittoria Colonna, who lived in the Aragonese Castle for many years, spent time there.
