A pool on the roof with a beautiful view, really huge room, very good location, friendly staff

A little renovation is needed to the room we stayed (a room for 4 person): the carpet has spots, and the whole look of the room seems a little "old" as if it used to be the best 5 star hotel and these times were gone. But for that money it doesn't matter

    Room very big, view brilliant.

Lack of a bar and restaurant, one across the way but not actually in hotel. Two long a walk into town, not nice area or walking facility. One tiny lift no stairs just fire escape, not nice. Tiny swimming pool on top of hotel, too small and hardly any sun loungers or facilities up there. Sw Hi chris glad to know that you are alright, even though I'm sure your really shook up. Sorry we couldn't get to meet up, nearly made it. I was just getting in touch with Tina at 11.30 this morning to tell her that I had come from my friend Margaret's house five minute before and had been sick with a bad stomach ache, she said I was as white as a sheet. I think there is so e sort of virus, which includes sore throat etc. Can you get your glasses on your insurance? Sent from my iPad

I liked the room which is very comfortable, immaculate clean and spacious.

What the hotel lacks is that the rooms do not have a kettle. I had to bring my own to prepare milk for my infant during the night. Breakfast is very bare minimum. Only the first day there was coffee available, otherwise it was upon request. Other savories which were finished from the counter were taking ages to be replaced.

The view from the Swimming pool was great! We got a big room, well cleaned, good air conditioning. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, there are many other options in the city. close to Asisi and Gubbio

if you arrive late in the hotel, prepare your maneuver skills to part the car ;)

Nice hotel. Great resturant next door. The pool was great! Good place to relax.

The location is ok, takes about 30-40 minutes to walk to the center.

The room was awesome, spacious, clean, new furniture and beautiful bathroom.

Old and dusty carpets everywhere, small pool and shabby and poorly maintained pool area, not enough beach beds, no bar, dirty and run down pool showers. The stairway leading up there is spooky.

We have stayed one night. There are two se room in the hotel, the new one, which is fine, but the old one is a disaster. We could hardly fit in the shower. The carpet was filthy, air-con was leaking, the TV was from the 70's and beds were uncomfortable old soft mattresses. Some light bulb were missing....

A large room with a safe and the views from the window was awesome.

The fridge was not working; we called the front desk and was offered another room but we did not accept the offer. Too much hustle for one night stay. The shower door was broken as well. We inforrmed the front desk person when we checked out.

The location has easy access to the bus service with several lines passing in front of the hotel (we had no car so this fitted in perfect). There is nice scenery around and the city centre can be reached on foot within minutes. The room was spotless, comfortable and lots of natural light.

when the lift broke down, use of the stairwell was mandatory. During a storm, the stairs were wet and the part of the way was exposed to the elements.

Great location, 10 minute walk to main square and on your way there is an amazing bakery which we stopped at for breakfast every morning. Rooftop pool which the kids loved while we admired the view from the rooftop terrace. Nice hotel and very helpful staff. Perusia is such a beautiful town and we would love to return one day.

The pool on the top of the hotel is AMAZING - it has unbelievable views overlooking all of Perugia.

The rooms were very dated, the fridge, telephone and security safe did not work! Very old and tired looking (except for entrance and the few rooms they had rennovated).

    Breakfast

I booked the hotel via booking.com already on March, asking for a allergy-friendly room: I get asthma attacks and fever if I sleep in moquette-equipped room. When we arrived to the hotel, we were told that our room was indeed allergy friendly, but located in the old wing because all the room of the new wing were not for asthmatics. We got to the room, and it had a moquette! We went back to the reception and asked for the room to be changed: unfortunately the only available room for the night was a room "under construction", in which -according to the concierge- only the air conditioning was missing. We went to check out and it was a totally mess: electric wires on the floor and exposed, dust everywhere. When I said it was not acceptable to sleep there, we were sent to a nearby hotel (3 stars) for the night, which had allergy friendly rooms, and asked to get back to Exe for the following nights. (The new hotel was just great, by the way, way too classy for a 3 stars!) The concierge said that EXE would have covered the full price for all the 3 nights as compensation for the unconvenience. So, the next day we went back. First surprise: EXE wouldn't have covered the amount of our staying, but we would have had a 30% discount on the first night! What can one do? We accepted anyway! We were given an allergy-friendly room, but: - there were blackout drapes only on a window, but not on the window next to the bed - the fridge didn't work (and the fridge was one of the reasons why we chose this hotel!) - the tv didn't work - the lamp didn't work Once again at the reception, another room given.

Male staff member on front reception was very rude. Female staff member we had when we checked in was lovely. The man who took over from her should not work in hospitality.

The room in this hotel is excellent. Deserves a 4 star rating.

Location is not good. Difficult to reach and the surroundings are ugly. Staff is polite but does little to make your stay better; did not help us reach the hotel.

Decent hotel close to city center...not a good restaurant..

They seem to be in a hurry to clean tables after breakfast and to close the doors for breakfast room
