Score from 819 reviews Very good
Great breakfast, lovely room and staff helpful.
Walls were very thin so it was quite noisy at night.
Very good breakfast
Unfriendly staff No reception in the hotel only camera control
Modern facilities, breakfast, comfort
Wifi, location (a bit far from city historical centre), but close to train station.
We were booked into Piccolo but were given a room in Martini next door. A bit more modern than Piccolo maybe. Had a nice room. Also driver drove to nearby restaurant was great service. Good breakfast.
Good location if you are traveling with a car.
Free public parking is limited and should be noted, air conditioning stopped working for entire night, bed was actually two doubles pushed together
Selections of vegetables for breakfast
Location location location - 15 min walk from the old city, 5 min walk from the central train station of verona. Nice and helpfull staff Free wifi Good value trattoria
A bit old facilities
quiet and comfort
Very good breakfast, good variety. Located well.
Front desk not very friendly
We have stayed in this hotel 2 times so far and I would choose the same place if I go to Verona again. It is absolutely perfect for the money. Very easy to find if you travel by car and very close to the station if you travel by train.
A little far from the city center but perfect if you travel by car as there is a lot of parking space in front of the hotel free of charge.
Good accessibility and the city center is in a walk distance
Relatively good location, compromise between distance to train station and center of the city.
Helpful staff, very good breakfast, comfortable bedroom, well equipped bathroom. For those on foot is a bit away from the downtown but very close to the train station. I recommend
It was nice that it was within walking distance to the bus/train station. The breakfast was also very good for the value.
You have to be able to walk to the sights of verona. Pretty much all of downtown verona is about a twenty minute walk.
very close to the train station, 15-20 min walk to the centre
bad wi-fi connection extremly small room
Close to the old town.
Smallest shower in the world, had to wash your feet in the bidet.
Helpful and polite staff, comfortable room, good breakfast. I was given a city map and directions when I checked in.
A bit far from city center.
So close to the train station we didn't have to worry about the arrival or the departure. Rooms are usual according to the size and the cost of a night. Breakfast was good.
One of the person at the desk reacted strangely on our departure day. The other one was charming
Great being able to park the car. Plus it was handy to walk to all the sights we wanted to see.
Hotel & staff excellent. Free parking outside of hotel. Breakfast buffet excellent!
Location just average, but in reasonable proximity to Verona sights/arena. Restaurant offered by the hotel only fair.
Very good location (5-10min on foot from city centre), clean small room, no problems with water and shower, diverse and delicious breakfasts with bakings, fruit, tomatoes, cucumbers, juices, yogurt, ham and cheese, friendly staff
To connect Internet you should give 'like' to the hotel's page on Facebook, otherwise you won't get wi-fi. So unfair...
Hotel Piccolo was in a great location in terms of access to the golden triangle of Verona- amphitheatre, historic sites etc. 15 minutes walking time. Hotel Piccolo provided good service. There was no food available apart from breakfast at the hotel but a bus took us to another part of the chain of hotels for dinner. I would definitely stay here again.
Hotel Piccolo was the hardest place to get to by driving a car for the person who was visiting Verona for the first time, even with a gps. Once there, parking was adequate on the street- first in first served basis.
Good location if arriving by train and not too far to walk into the city centre. A fairly basic hotel with everything you need that represents very good value compared with hotels in the centre of Verona.
Nothing really - they no longer provide a coach to the Opera, but it is still possible to get a free mini-bus shuttle providing you have a meal in a sister hotel (both were very good!).
Free parking in front of hotel, good breakfast
